I grew up with dogs (a Golden Retriever and Terrier mix) and have since dog sat for many families throughout the years. I love an excuse to walk and spend time outdoors. My children are also very active and enjoy having a dog in our home so your dog is guaranteed a lot of attention, playtime and love. My children are ages 25 (a grad student at UC Davis), 22 (just graduated from UCSC and 18 (living at home and attending community college). I recently moved into an apartment so I no longer have a yard but we do have a nice street view that dogs really enjoy. I have to be mindful of noise having neighbors downstairs and next-door so if your dog tends to bark a lot my home may not be the best fit. Addition services: we had a bunny for 13 years that I really miss. We also offering bunny sitting for neutered and vaccinated buns.

Gillian was great with Billy. She sent me pictures and ask me about every detail that we missed. Billy was so comfortable and he felt at home.
Gillian was very responsive and took care of Toto very well. She sent some cute photos of him and even bought him a new collar when his collar broke I would definitely use her services again
Gillian was amazing from start to finish! This was our first time leaving our rescue chihuahua Ducky and we were really quite nervous but the minute we met Gillian we felt at ease. She has a lovely clean and quiet home and lovely people in it to help look after dogs. It was great for us that Gillian only takes one pet at a time as Ducky is not great with other dogs. He also made friends with a very cute bunny which was an added bonus! She also kept us informed throughout his stay on how he was doing which helped put us at ease too. She was flexible with pick up/drop off times too. I am so pleased we decided to go with Gillian over a 'pet hotel' experience and hope Ducky will be welcome back for another stay in the future!
Gillian's home and family were very welcoming to our golden doodle! We look forward to future visits!!
10/10, would book again! A few years ago I visited a few Rover spots for my dog Obi and did NOT feel comfortable leaving him there. But I tried again and am glad I did. Gillian was responsive and asked questions about Obi to make sure it would be a good match. She accommodated Obi's quirks and texted us with a healthy dose of updates. When we arrived to pick up Obi, he was happy to see us, but also still happy to return to Gillian for some petting. He seemed very comfortable in her home :)
Gillian is fantastic! We had a brief meet and greet to make sure she was comfortable with Leo (and vice versa). During Leo’s stay, she sent us photos and updates, and occasional questions to ensure Leo was comfortable. She was also very quick to respond anytime we had questions. Overall, we feel Leo was very well taken care of :)

Schedule
I currently work part time at a major airline (4 hours per day) and I typically work 5 days per week giving me plenty of time to spend with your pet. There is usually someone at home either me or my children.

We do not have any pets of our own and I only watch one pet at a time. I make sure that everyone in my home is mindful of keeping the door closed.
A typical day
I love going for walks and spending time outdoors. I welcome your pets on our sofa when we relax, watch movies and socialize. Your pet will feel like part of our family.
