Availability
My availability is fairly flexible, but I require a week’s notice for house-sitting (I need time to prepare). If I live within 15 miles of your home, I will only do drop-in visits. I will need at least 2-3 days notice for dog walking and drop-in visits. I prefer to only do drop-ins, as I have my own animals to care for multiple times a day. **NOTICE: THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL PET FEE FOR MY SERVICES, I WILL NOT ACCEPT STAYS IF YOU DROP ADDITIONAL ANIMALS ON ME WITHOUT CHARGE.**

I communicate about anything that stands out to me, and make sure to be kind and courteous. I like to send my clients picture and video updates of their pets while they’re away!

For dogs: I’ll need to know if they need any special medication, if they’re in heat, or if they are reactive on the leash. I will not accept dog walking requests for reactive large dogs. I would love to know how they prefer to play, if they jump, how often they go potty, and if they’re high-energy. For cats: I would need to know if they are friendly with people, if they bite or swat, how often they need attention, or if they need to take any medications. I will not accept requests for aggressive or extremely temperamental cats. I also accept requests for birds, hamsters, rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians, and other animals. Please privately message me if you have a requests for animals other than dogs and cats! Each additional animal has their own pricing.
A typical day
I love to play fetch with the dogs and go on walks with them! With cats I enjoy sitting with them and playing, or helping them become comfortable around me if they’re shy. I live with two cats currently.

Very patient with animals and people! I’ll gladly walk and play with your dog, spend time with your cat, and will make sure that your furry baby is well taken care of and is in the best of hands! I have years of experience with both cats and dogs, and I currently have a cat. I adopted my cat (Bunny) at the Lynchburg Humane Society last year, and she will turn 11 on April 30th. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I will be kind and courteous to everyone! Ask me about my pet portraits! I love drawing and have a blast capturing the essence of your furry/feathered/scaley friends!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gillian is AMAZING. This was my first (and second) time using Rover as we could not bring our pet Tiger with us. I am always worried to leave him bc he is extremely shy and skittish. Nonetheless, Gillian gave me so much peace of mind posting pictures to Rover daily. I genuinely looked forward to the updates each day. Her attention to detail, open communication, and loving care for animals is evident. She exceeded my expectations BOTH times and I was over the moon 🤩 My husband and I truly didn’t need to worry while we were away. After the first booking, we knew Tiger was in good hands and wanted to book with Gillian again 🐾💙 We are SOO thankful to be able to trust her in our home and with our shy fur baby. Book her, you won’t regret it. Gillian is the best!!
