Hi! I am just starting on this site formally so building my new profile but I have had dogs for over 30 years and have the most loving Staffy (Sapphy). I have many years of experience pet sitting for all kind of dogs, big and small, cute and cuddly, energetic non stop attention seekers and chilled sofa, grumpy won’t go out if it’s raining ones and I’ll only come near you if you have food ones and the very anxious ones that take a lot of time and patience to build their trust in you then become your shadow ones. I’ve looked after puppy’s in the process of potty & crate training and older dogs providing medicine and special care. I look after pets in their home so they get to stay in their own environment and keep their routine - including overnight stays if needed. I can provide all day or multiple visit approaches including a late visit and early morning visit if not staying the night. I’ve taken dogs for long long walks, ran around with frisbees and balls, taken them to hydrotherapy sessions or just for pool fun and shenanigans and spent all day cuddling the ones that just don’t want to do anything other than chill and sleep. I look after your house, moving mail away from the front door and leaving it clean and secure for you coming home. I work part time for a bank (8 years) from home so can care most days working out of your house or visiting regularly. Above all of the pet related care I provide, I can provide peace of mind that your home is safe and secure and 100% trust - which is why I provide an enhanced DBS check, you can visit me at my home so you can get a feel for me and build trust (I don’t board here), you can see any ID and I am always accessible for a FaceTime or call when I am caring for your pet with twice daily photos and updates.

I only care for pets in your home currently as my dog isn’t fond of anything furry! I can provide half hour visits once a day to full day and night care or multiple visit care where I would not leave them for more than a few hours in the day, making at least one visit mid day, one early morning visit and one evening visit to settle them down for the night. I work with you to deliver the best approach as you know what your cat or dog needs best! I am happy to look after the household pets such as caged rodents, birds and fish but no reptiles and definately no snakes!! It only ever me that would be in your home, no kids, no pets just me and your pets, safe and secure following your every instruction. I water your indoor plants, collect your mail, open and close curtains, take your wheelie bin out and give your downstairs floors a little hoover and mop on my last visit.

Gillian was absolutely puurrrrffeeccttt! 🐾💖 After never using a cat sitter before, We were initially nervous, but after meeting Gillian just once, I felt completely comfortable handing over the keys to our home. 🔑🏡 She went above and beyond caring for all 3 of our cats — Tommy, Oreo & Kenny 🐱🐱🐱 — feeding them, playing with them, giving Tommy his medication 💊 and sending us lovely photo updates 📸. She also cared for our 4 mice 🐭 and our axolotl, Freckles! 🦎 Every pet was happy, loved and perfectly cared for, and Gillian even went above and beyond by cleaning the house before we returned! 🥹✨ We can’t thank Gillian enough and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy and fantastic pet sitter. 💕 We all give Gillian a 5-paw 🐾 review! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Although the pets are thrilled to have us home, they’ll definitely miss Gillian’s cuddles and care! 🥰🐾

Schedule
I currently work part time at home with 1 day in the office all day but don’t work at all Thursday to Sunday so specialise in AM and PM drop in visits for unlimited holiday cover and long weekend care day and night care. However I do offer longer term all day and night sitting but would need access to unlimited secure broadband and work from your home during my working days. I drive so can do multiple visits based on what you need and my flexible working hours.

- I have a checklist that covers everything I might need to know so I can emulate your normal routine and keep your dog safe such as - Food times, type and special instructions like do I feed the small one first or in another room because the big one is greedy and gulps theirs down so they can pinch the other ones?! Or food protectors that guard their bowl like it’s their last ever meal? - allergies - sleeping arrangements Everything that covers how, what and when for your pets, security of your home and how you want to communicate updates while you are away - I’ve got it covered so I know your exact requirements.
