A typical day
I love going to the dog park and on nature hikes! I believe plenty of mentally and physically stimulating activities is the key to a happy healthy dog or simply cuddling on the couch if that’s more your dog’s speed :)

Pet care experience
I’ve fostered 4 dogs through a local rescue. I’ve potty trained puppies and worked with dogs with behavioral issues. I’ve also grown up with pets my whole life. I’m very experienced and a huge animal lover!

Gill-Helene is GREAT with dogs! She has plenty of experience with dogs of various sizes, ages, and energy levels. She's firm and consistent when it comes to training or putting a stop to an undesired behavior and always rewards the desired behavior with plenty of praise. Not everyone's love for dogs is matched by their experience, but Gill-Helene's definitely is! On the short list of people with which I would entrust the lives of my fur babies, Gill-Helene is definitely at the top!
Gill-Helene loves animals; especially dogs. She has grown up with dogs (several chihuahuas and a king james cocker spaniel) and has her own chihuahua. She has also fostered several dogs. Gill-Helene will love and take care of your dog like it is her own.
Gill has watched my dog Ella multiple times.. which isn’t always the easiest thing, I have a very anxious dog who take a long to warm up to people. After the first day of Gill watching Ella, she was sitting on her lap and cuddling!!!! I was very impressed by the effort Gill made to make my dog feel at home when I wasn’t around. I will 100% leave Ella in gills care again!
