Dogs and cats I meet know immediately that I love and respect them. I LOVE taking photos. I often say I wish I had 5 pets. I believe the enthusiasm and unconditional love that dogs and cats show us can teach us all to be better people. I treat any animal I meet or care for in the same loving way I would treat my own. I love to adapt my behavior to the animal's. If they are excited, I will boost my energy for them. If they are laid back, I will relax into them. If they love to cuddle, I'm all theirs! When cats want to cuddle I feel especially lucky! I work from home in a comfortable, peaceful atmosphere. I love giving them the attention they deserve, and enjoy having them by my side. Part of the fun is finding their sweet spot where they love to be petted and massaged. I’m excited to share that I take lots of photos during your stay to capture every moment! After the stay I make many of the photos private on this site so that new clients can see the best highlights of my past stays. While my profile might show a lower photo rate due to a tech glitch after I privatize photos, rest assured that I photograph 100% of my stays. Thanks for your understanding!

Gil was AMAZING with Molly and Sirius! they are both a handful but he took such good care of them over the holiday and set our minds at ease. Sirius can be skittish around men but Gil was so patient and calm that Sirius warmed up very fast. He took them on 3 long walks, followed their schedule for feeding and pills, and kept us updated with cute photos and messages! We will definitely use him again in the future if we get the chances
We were going on a 7 day cruise and I didn't want to put Luci and Nugget in a kennel, so we had Gil watch them in our home. Nugget our youngest had never been left for any length of time so this was our first time being able to leave him and feel-good knowing they both were in good hands. I can't say enough nice things about Gil, he was so good with both dogs and their special needs, I recommend him highly.
"Uncle Gil" was absolutely amazing with our two babies. They got a vacation while we had our own. He made the process easy and was thorough with their care/needs. Im a nervous Nelly about leaving my dogs with anyone and this was the first time I wasn't concerned about their safety. Thanks Gil! Well be booking again in the future!
For using rover for the first time we were very lucky to have found Gil. We never get to go out anywhere longer then a few hours, but with Gil we were actually able to go to our daughter's bridal and groom shower and not worry about having to leave early, and that nugget and Luci would be taken care of. We received texts and pictures which made me feel very secure that they were in good hands. Gil doesn't live close to us but didn't hesitate to call say yes to us. Thank you again
Gilbert was fantastic with Chance. I received at least daily pictures and updates on how Chance was doing. Gilbert also dropped in to take care of my cat while we were away and did a wonderful job with him too. I appreciate everything Gilbert did and would not hesitate to hire him again. He is the BEST! I like to go by the book of however you care for your loved pet. I'll take notes when we speak. My goal for any house guest, including your pet, is to make them feel like they want to stay a while longer. : )
A typical day
I live less than a mile from a nice lake. Walking to the lake to enjoy the view and back home is a delightful mile-and-a-half walk dogs seem to LOVE. I live in a community that is very quiet with few people. I have a big yard we can play frisbee in, and have mastered using a 50ft. lead for play. I will keep your pet on the leash as we run together in the yard and when we're out for the walks. If your dog or cat is boarding with me, he or she will be part of the family each night.
