Personalized Pup Care Just for You!

As a queer, non-binary person, I work to make sure everyone, including pups, feels welcomed and valued. Growing up surrounded by dogs taught me that caring for animals means understanding each one as an individual with their own personality and needs. Throughout high school and college, I became the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood. I built trust with families by showing up reliably and paying close attention to each pet's well-being. I've worked with dogs at every life stage, from energetic puppies still learning boundaries to senior dogs who need extra patience. My teaching background gave me skills in reading behavior closely and responding to what a dog is actually communicating. When I care for multiple pets or dogs with special needs, I build the relationship first and listen closely. I want every pup to feel safe and supported being who they are.

Safety, trust & environment

I pay attention to what each dog needs to feel at ease. Some dogs need high-energy play; others do better with a slower, more relaxed pace. I can keep up with active dogs and I also value the slower rhythm that comes with caring for senior dogs or dogs who need a gentler approach. I want your dog's environment to stay calm and predictable, so I honor their established routines. If there's something specific that helps your dog feel comfortable, tell me and I'll build it into how I care for them.

Absolutely brilliant sitter. Great with our dogs (who can be tricky), great with updates and really personable. Rest easy with Gil!

Gil was amazing!! So punctual, conscientious, thoughtful, and loving to Ernie! We are so grateful to have a great sitter for our gurl. Ernie had a great time joining outings with Gil and friends, walks, park time, and home snuggles. Thank you!!!!!!

Amazing. Gillian did an amazing job with our two little dachshunds, was very consistent with the way I train them and also considerately left my place immaculate. Lots of updates were given during the time we were away!

Gillian went the extra mile while watching our two dogs while we travelled. She kept us updated she walked the dogs (even in not so great weather) she was exceptional watching our home - brought the garbage cans out and back, ran dishwasher, washed and changed sheets and accommodated a delayed flight. We loved her our dogs loved her. I would recommend her to anyone!

We were able to travel abroad without worrying that our pups were in great hands. Gillian gave us that peace of mind. They sent lots of “pupdates” which we loved and read over meals etc. Our home was left in great shape and they followed all our suggestions. Thank you Gillian!

Schedule

I make sure each dog gets attention during evening walks, quiet time after work, and weekend outings. My schedule is flexible so I can respond to what your pet needs day to day. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away!

I want to learn as much as I can about your dog's routine, personality, and quirks before we start. I have experience with dogs across activity levels, temperaments, and medical needs. I can't give injections, but I'm comfortable helping with medications, special diets, and other care instructions. Bottom line: the more I know about your dog ahead of time, the more familiar and low-stress I can make their time with me.
