I work from home on my own schedule, therefore am able to be flexible and accomodate varying schedules for pet sitting and going for walks! Please note that as I do not drive, I might not accept walk/drop-in requests that are not reachable by TTC.

Please let me know about any special needs your pet has! I am confident in dealing with excitable/high energy pets, and have experience with grumpy and anxious cats, but aggressive/highly fearful dogs, or large dogs with leash pulling issues would not be a great fit for me.
A typical day
I love to see how pets respond to different types of play, and the way that different dogs behave on walks is so neat to see, how some will be excited to go on a quick paced walk, and others like to take a leisurely sniff around their neighbourhood.

Pet care experience
I have been around various pets for my whole life, and for 6 years have been a foster parent for a whole range of cats from tiny kittens to sleepy seniors! While I don't yet have a dog of my own, I also love to play with dogs, and walking them, getting to see them interact with the world outside their home! I am confident dealing with large and small dogs. My favourite part of pet care is getting to meet such a wide variety of pets and see their personalities shine!

Genuinely good person, very responsive to messages, punctual and honest. We’re lucky to have found Gil. My dog comes back happy after his walk. Definitely recommend Gil.
The only areas of improvement that I would recommend is getting back to people sooner. We all live now in the era of Instant messaging via email to our phones instantly, and yet it would take them often until the next day or even longer to get back to me. Aside from that my cat loved them and seemed very well cared for when I got back!
Gil is a wonderful dog walker. They’ve been walking our little guy since he was a tiny pup now he is over one year. Gil is patient with our pup and really takes very good care of him. Gil communicates really with me and does their best to respond in a very timely manner to my messages. Gil had also taken care of our pup when we were out for the evening and had always done a great job. Our little dog is always happy to see them and get started on his walk. I
