I have experience working in animal care in with many different breeds, both for cats and dogs! I am also comfortable with other small animals such as hampsters, rats, or fish. I have a calm manner and have a lot of experience working with shy, reactive or skittish animals.

I live in an apartment building and have an animal of my own so I am unable to care for pets in my home. It’s important to follow all specified directions and treat the clients home with respect.

Pretty bad experience. Gianna was supposed to house sit my dog Max for two nights while I was on a business trip. When she came to meet Max, I made sure to tell her he was high energy and had some quirks. After the first night she texted me to say she did not sleep well at my house and was not going to stay the second night but would do drop ins to feed Max. Since I was halfway across the country I had few options. The result was that my dog spent the majority of my 3 day trip by himself - the first day she was gone for 12 hours during the day. That was not my intent when I asked for house sitting - I wanted him to have some company. Based on my experience, I would not have confidence that Gianna would manage an even mildly difficult or inconvenient situation, she just seems to be fine throwing up her hands and walking away from her commitment. Not the person I want to entrust my pets to.
Gianna was fantastic! Provided photos and check ins of our kitty and made us feel comfortable while we were away!
Gianna was great and even helped us last minute! She was great with our dogs, even our young pup who had to be kept calm in a cone.

Gianna was amazing! She stayed with our Louis for four nights and we are so lucky to have found her. She sent lots of pictures and updates and took such great care of him. She was super responsive and treated our house with great care. We will definitely be using her in the future.
Gianna was great. She did a wonderful job, taking care of our dog, post knee surgery, and our cat for 10 nights. She was communicative and took great care of our house as well. We will definitely be using her again!

Schedule
I am currently doing a fellowship in Santa Rosa but have the ability to see animals any weekday after 5pm or on the weekends! I am flexible

- It’s important to know the dogs attitude around other dogs, people or children. It is also important to know their energy levels so that I can gauge what type of route to take and if the dog would like to spend any time playing. It’s also important to be able to approach a cat in a way they are comfortable with. I have a lot of experience working with all types of cats including those who are shy or tempremental
