As a nursing student and elderly caregiver, I take care of animals and people as if they were my own family/loved ones. I have an active nursing assistant license that is in good standing without any demerits. I take pride in the job I do, and aim to work with integrity, beneficence, and non-maleficence. My background in bedside healthcare has shaped my identity to revolve around the 5 core values of nursing: human/animal dignity, personal integrity, autonomy, altruism, and social justice. The lives in my hands are cherished, and treated with respect and dignity. It is an honor to have the job that I do, and I take great pride in my work.

Pet care experience
I’m a farm girl at heart, I started riding horses as a toddler, and have always had an affinity for animals. Over the years I have cared for cats, dogs, chickens, horses, and many other fluffy/feathery friends. I even had cats, dogs, and chickens of my own. I dedicated the last 3 years of my free time to training my medical alert service dog who performs cardiac response and has passed the AKC canine good citizen training, twice. His next endeavor will be to achieve his AKC elite trick performer certification. My passion for caregiving started at a young age through pet sitting and babysitting, and has become an part of who I am, ensuring that anyone can be adored and cared for like family when they are in my hands. My passion for caregiving extends beyond animals; I am a full time nursing student and full time elderly caregiver at a nursing home. I have an active nursing assistant license that is in good standing without any demerits. I take pride in the job I do, and aim to work with integrity, beneficence, and non-maleficence.

Reviews

This is the second time Gianna came to take care of Gary for the week. She is great and I'd highly recommend her. Thank you, Gianna!

Gianna and her dog, Whiskey, are wonderful. My dog, Gary loved having them house sit. The dogs had a wonderful time playing and Gianna took excellent care of Gary. We will be repeat clients!

Gianna was great! She was very attentive and the boys seemed happy!

Great communication, animals love her
