Reliable + passionate care taker 🐾

My love for pets started at a young age when I began caring for my family’s dogs. Over time, what began as a simple responsibility grew into a deep passion for their well-being. Today, I bring that same dedication, joy, and care to every pet I look after. With years of experience, I’ve cared for pets of all breeds and ages, from playful puppies to wise seniors. Here’s what sets me apart: All breeds, all ages: I’m comfortable caring for every type of pet, ensuring their unique needs are met with patience and expertise. Medication administration: I’m experienced in giving oral medications and insulin injections with care and precision, so your pet stays healthy and stress-free. Puppy training and socialization: I’ve helped young pets develop good habits, build confidence, and feel at home in their environment. Senior pet care: I understand the gentle needs of older pets, from low-impact play to monitoring their comfort and well-being. Compassionate and reliable: I treat every pet like my own, providing a safe, loving, and fun experience they’ll love. If you’re looking for a sitter who combines experience, trustworthiness, and a genuine love for pets, let’s connect! I’d love to discuss how I can make your pet’s day as special as they make yours.

She has been a wonderful sitter to my four legged babies. She’s trustworthy, patient, and animals love her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet care.

Gianna is the absolute best. Our dog is really old now and mostly just sleeps all day. She never wants to get up and play anymore. But whenever I have to go out of town and drop her off at Gianna’s, she gets so excited to go, which is completely unlike her these days. She just loves her for some reason and has the best time there. Plus, every time I pick her up, she comes home smelling amazing and super clean. It’s such a relief knowing our old girl is safe and actually happy while we're gone. I can’t recommend Giana enough!

Gianna is great with animals! We’ve used her several times to come to our house and let our dogs out and play with them. We have 3 dogs and very specific instructions for each of them. She followed the instructions perfectly and the dogs love her. We would highly recommend her!

Zeitplan

I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care and love being around animals. Here’s how I’ll make sure their needs are always met: Daily: Morning and evening: Feed the pet and take them for walks or playtime. Throughout the day: Spend time cuddling, training, or providing companionship. Weekly: Cleaning their space, and ensuring they’re happy and healthy. Longer outings or adventures, like trips to the park or beach, if the pet enjoys it. Flexibility: I’m available for drop-ins, last-minute requests, and overnight boarding. Experience: I’ve cared for pets in the past and love making sure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. Whether it’s a quick walk, a playdate, or a longer stay, I’m happy to help!

Sicherheit, Vertrauen & Umgebung

I treat every pet as part of my family, whether they’re staying in my home or visiting yours. Here’s how I ensure their comfort and safety: In My Home: I provide a safe and cozy space: I prepare a quiet, pet-friendly area with their bed, toys, and familiar items (like blankets or treats) to help them feel at home. Routine care: I stick to their regular feeding, walking, and playtime schedule to keep them comfortable. Supervision: I monitor their behavior, energy levels, and health, and I’m always available to provide companionship or address any concerns. Cleanliness: I keep their space tidy, sanitize bowls and bedding, and ensure their environment is safe (e.g., no hazards like loose wires or toxic plants). Pet-proofing: I make sure my home is secure, especially for curious or energetic pets. In a Client’s Home: I am respectful and observant: I follow the pet’s routine exactly as the owner describes, including feeding times, walks, and any specific instructions (e.g., no treats, certain commands, or favorite toys). Home safety: I double-check that doors, windows, and gates are secure to prevent escapes. I also ensure the pet doesn’t have access to unsafe areas (e.g., cleaning supplies, trash, or small objects they could swallow). Updates: I provide regular updates to the owner, including photos or messages about how their pet is doing/ any concerns I have. Emergency plan: I have the owner’s vet contact info and my backup’s details in case of an emergency. Extra care: I love giving pets extra love and attention through cuddles, gentle play, or quiet time—whatever they need to feel happy and relaxed.

Ein typischer Tag

Morning: Wake-up and breakfast: I start the day with a calm routine—feeding the pet(s) and refreshing their water bowl. Morning walk or playtime: We head outside for a walk, a game of fetch, or some fun in the yard. If it’s a cat, I’ll engage them with a wand toy or laser pointer to get their energy up. Grooming and cuddles: I’ll do a quick brush (if needed), check their paws and ears, and spend some quality cuddle time to help them wake up relaxed. Midday: Interactive fun: This is when we get creative! Activities depend on the pet’s personality: For dogs: Puzzle toys, hide-and-seek with treats, or a trip to the dog park for socialization. For cats: Feather wands, cardboard box forts, or window perches where they can watch birds. For bunnies or small pets: Tunnels to explore, fresh veggies to forage, or gentle floor time for hopping around. Training or enrichment: If the pet enjoys learning, I’ll practice simple commands or tricks. For shy pets, I focus on building trust with gentle interactions. Nap time: After all that fun, I’ll make sure they have a cozy spot to rest while I’m nearby. Afternoon: Adventure time1 If the weather’s nice, we might go for a car ride (for dogs who love it), a short hike, or a trip to a pet-friendly store. Relaxing activities: For pets who prefer quieter days, we’ll curl up with a chew toy, a lick mat, or a cozy blanket for some downtime. Pet errands: If needed, I’ll help with light tasks like picking up pet supplies or dropping off mail (if the owner asks). Evening: Dinner and evening walk: Another meal, followed by a stroll or play session to wind down. Bathroom breaks: I’ll make sure all pets have a chance to do their business before settling in for the night. Wind-down time: Calm activities like gentle brushing, soft music, or a story time session (yes, some pets enjoy that!). Bedtime routine: I’ll tuck them in with their favorite toy or blanket and check on them one last time before bed. Fun Extras (Depending on the Pet!) Agility challenges: For dogs, I love setting up obstacle courses with household items (like broomsticks for jumps or chairs for weave poles) to keep them active and engaged. Trick training: Teaching fun tricks like “roll over,” “crawl,” or “fetch the leash” to impress their owners when they return. Themed playdates: Like a “paw-ty” with balloons and treats for dogs or a “catnip spa day” for cats. Seasonal fun: Pumpkin puree “pupcakes” in fall, ice cube treats in summer, or holiday-safe decorations to explore. Sensory adventures: New textures to walk on (like bubble wrap or a snuffle mat), or safe outdoor smells to sniff (like fresh herbs for cats). Photo sessions: Capturing their happy moments to share with their owners! Every pet is unique, so I adjust the day to match their energy, interests, and needs. The goal is to make sure they feel loved, entertained, and safe—whether it’s a high-energy day filled with agility and tricks or a lazy afternoon cuddled up together.

Every pet is unique, and understanding their personality, needs, and routines helps me provide the best care possible. Here’s what I need to know to make their stay (or visits) safe, fun, and stress-free: Essential Information to Share: Health and Safety: Any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions. Medications they’re on (dosage, timing, and how to administer them). Vaccination records, especially for boarding or group play.Emergency contact info for their vet and your backup person. Daily Routine: Feeding schedule, portion sizes, and favorite treats. Walking or bathroom breaks (how often, where they like to go, and any preferences). Sleeping arrangements (e.g., do they sleep in a crate, on a bed, or with specific blankets?). Behavior and Personality: Are they shy, energetic, anxious, or social with other pets/people? Any fears or triggers (e.g., loud noises, certain types of handling, or other animals). How they react to new environments or people. Training and Commands: Basic commands they know (e.g., “sit,” “stay,” “come”) and how they respond. Any behavioral quirks (e.g., jumping, barking, or chewing). Favorite Activities: What they love to do for fun (e.g., fetch, agility, cuddling, or puzzle toys). Toys or games they enjoy (and any they dislike or avoid). House Rules (if caring in their home): Areas off-limits or rooms they prefer. Furniture or surfaces they’re allowed on (e.g., couches, beds). How to handle mail, packages, or household items while you’re there. Special Requests: Anything else you’d like me to know to make their time with me as comfortable as possible! Safety is always first in my book! Knowing about health issues or fears helps me avoid situations that could stress or harm the pet. Before the pet arrives (or before our first meet-and-greet), I’d love to chat with you to go over all the details. This way, I can prepare and make sure their stay is perfect for them—and for you!
