It saddens me to have to write this review but I hope this is taken as a learning lesson by the dog sitter and Rover. I booked my sitting for 4 days with Gianna but had to cancel the rest of the sitting after 2 days because I felt disrespected and violated by Gianna. By my dogs second visit, I noticed a man standing behind Gianna and she allowed this man in my home, knowledge of where my key was hidden, the code to my locks, and access to my dog without my consent or knowledge. I notified Gianna that my pup was weary of men, kids, and dog aggressive during our pre-meet visit and she ignored me and my instructions. When my dog saw a man he wasnt familiar with, enter our home he became protective and nervous and charged at the man with her. She gave her uninvited guest water from my fridge and allowed him to sit on my furniture in my home. And the ultimate violation was she allowed him to take physical control of my dog. Anything could of happened to my dog or the person she brought over or even a random stranger and she was extremely careless. Gianna was notified prior to the visit about the indoor and outdoor cameras that I have on my property. My ring even mentions you are being recorded upon entry of my front door and gianna still allowed a stranger carelessly into my home. I only checked my cameras the second day because my ring camera notifed me of two individuals in my home. I am out the country and I am now worried about my pet, home and personal belongings while on my trip. The only reason I am being generous with two stars is my dog really was comfortable with her and she did good up until that point. I expected much more professionalism from an adult and animal care taker. Gianna did not ask nor verify with me of other persons entering my home or handling or caring for my pet. This is my first time using Rover, I normally ask a family member to dog sit but I am highly disappointed in the service and carelessness of someones home, belongings and animals. Sitters using peoples homes as free lounge areas for their friends is unfathomable to me and a complete violation to safety and privacy. This is my first and last time using rover due to this incident.

Gianna was nothing short but awesome! She cared for Tink throughly and sent me updates on how she was during my time away. She was also very neat and clean person. I came back to my home without any issues at all. I plan to rebook her and encourage others to book her service as well!
