Loving Care When You’re Not There.
I’m a proud pet parent to a spirited Shiba Inu, so I understand the importance of patience, structure, and lots of love when it comes to caring for dogs. I’ve also been volunteering with the Ottawa Humane Society for the past 6 months in their Canine Enrichment Program. Through this role, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—providing enrichment, positive reinforcement, and companionship in a shelter environment. Whether your dog is high-energy, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, stimulated, and cared for.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize consistency and comfort. I follow your instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine, whether that includes feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, play, or cuddles. I also make sure your home stays tidy and secure, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. I aim to be a calming, trustworthy presence while you’re away.
Ratings and reviews
We hired Giang to stay in our house for two weeks to take care of our cat and two dogs. She was wonderful with communication, pictures and updates that had us laughing and feeling like she was in tune with their personalities. We felt like they were in good hands, as was our house, and would use her again in the future.

Gia is honestly one of the most patient and caring people I know—especially when it comes to animals. She has a dog named Aki, and let me tell you, he’s a lot. Super energetic, kinda like a little tornado, and he definitely requires the kind of attention and understanding you’d give a human toddler. But Gia handles it all with so much calm and love—it’s impressive. I’ve seen how she connects with animals, and it’s clear she just gets them. She’s responsible, super trustworthy, and genuinely cares about making sure pets feel safe and happy. If anyone’s going to take care of your pet like it’s their own, it’s Gia.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—I had a Shiba Inu, so I know already the routine of daily walks, feeding, playtime, and downtime with a pet. I also volunteer weekly at the Ottawa Humane Society, which keeps me in tune with the needs of different animals.
