Let me know what is unique about your pet! Any quirks, habits, etc. that will help me get to to know them and interact with them in a way that they are most comfortable. I want to continue your established routines as best as I can while you are away.
A typical day
I am happy to do a variety of activities with your pets! I love going for walks and spending time outside when possible. I am also happy to sit and cuddle with a pet that just wants some love and quality time more than anything. If there are specific games/toys/activities that your pets love, let me know and I can work that into the visit!

Pet care experience
I did not grow up with pets (not for a lack of trying!), but as an adult I have had two dogs. I currently have an 8 year old (ish) adopted pit bull named Walter. Before adopting Walter, I volunteered with IACS as a dog walker, which required volunteer training on animal handling. I also served as a dog foster, and fostered around 15 dogs before adopting, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs. If your pet requires a meet and greet ahead of time, I am happy to do so to get to know them! I have administered oral medications before and can assist with this as needed. If your pet requires additional medications, I am willing to meet with you and learn how to administer them properly. I love spending time outside and look forward to getting to know your pets!
