Pet care naturally fits into every part of my daily life because it truly is my full time focus. I’m currently unemployed, which allows me to dedicate the majority of my time, energy, and attention to Rover and the animals I care for. When I’m not home taking care of my own two dogs, I’m out caring for other people’s pets. My schedule genuinely revolves around making sure every animal in my care is safe, happy, loved, and well looked after. This isn’t something I squeeze into my routine, because it genuinely is my routine, and I take that responsibility very seriously.

A typical day
With dogs, I’ll enjoy long walks (theres plenty of dog friendly trails in my neighborhood), playtime in the yard, and plenty of fetch (if they’re into it). For high energy pups, I’m always up for an adventure! If your dog loves cuddling, you can expect snuggles on the couch and naps together too. As for cats, I’m all about interactive play whether it’s feather wands, laser pointers, or just a good old game of chase the string. I also love creating cozy spots for them to relax and letting them dictate when they want some quiet time. And, of course, no pet goes without plenty of love, attention, and treats (if allowed)!

As a pet parent to a Silver Lab and a German Shepherd, I understand the importance of consistent routines, emotional connections, and tailored care. I’ve also spent over a year caring for three cats, ensuring they received specialized attention for their health and emotional needs. I’m skilled in managing pets of all sizes, but I have extensive experience with larger breeds (50+ lbs) and can easily adjust to any dog’s size and temperament. I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs, providing them with the same level of attention I give my own pets. I’m particularly attentive to senior pets or those with special needs, and I offer gentle care that ensures they stay comfortable and loved. Whether it’s providing playtime for energetic dogs or quiet companionship for anxious cats, I always treat pets with the respect, patience, and affection they deserve.

Gia was fantastic. Not only did she take the best care of our puppy Clara, she took it upon herself to train our puppy with several behaviors (sit, come, paw, leash), so that when we returned I was able to pick up where she left off. She communicates several times daily with both updates and pictures. We have complete trust in her and are already beginning to plan her next booking!
As always, Gia was great! Communicative, sent lots of pics of our pups, and takes great care of them. I know we can always trust her with our puppies!
