Petite Pup Retreat

I specialize exclusively in petite breeds and offer a safe, calm, and highly supervised home environment. I care for my own small dogs daily, so I understand their unique needs, sensitivities, and personalities. My home is structured around frequent potty breaks, gentle routines, and constant attention — not crowded or chaotic like daycare settings. I only board one household at a time (up to 3 tiny pups), ensuring your dog receives one-on-one care, personalized routines, and a truly boutique experience. Every pup gets daily brushing, teeth care, enrichment activities, supervised outdoor play, and plenty of cuddles. I monitor closely for overheating, stress, behavior changes, or medical concerns and always communicate promptly with updates, photos, and videos. If your dog thrives in a quiet, loving, small-breed-friendly home with a sitter who takes safety and trust seriously, this is the perfect place for them.

Safety, trust & environment

I maintain a calm, structured environment designed specifically for petite breeds. My home is fully fenced, supervised, and enriched with safe play spaces and gentle small dogs. Potty breaks, check-ins, and supervision are woven into my daily routine. During walks, I carry fresh water, a travel dispenser, and waste bags. I verify proper gear before every outing and monitor your pup closely for any signs of stress, overheating, or fatigue. If a medical or behavioral concern ever arises, I contact you immediately. Crates are available for rest time if desired, and all social interactions are supervised to ensure a safe, relaxed experience.

A typical day

At the Petite Pup Retreat, I keep activities calm, enriching, and designed specifically for small dogs. Your pup can enjoy: • Supervised outdoor playtime in a safe, fenced yard with gentle small-dog friends. • Light obedience and trick training (sit, stay, paw, spin, touch — all positive and fun). • Indoor enrichment games like snuffle mats, scent searches, puzzle toys, and treat trails. • Soft play sessions with plush toys, gentle tug, or fetch for tiny pups who enjoy it. • Cuddle breaks and relaxation time for dogs who love closeness and comfort. • Calm socialization with my friendly Yorkies and Pomeranian, always monitored. • Seasonal themed activities (cool-down popsicles in summer, cozy blankets in winter). • Daily brushing and pampering for a spa-like experience. • Photo and video updates of all the cute moments they have throughout the day. Every activity is designed to keep petite pups safe, happy, stimulated, and relaxed — just like a little vacation for them.

Before booking, I like to learn as much as possible about your pup so I can give them the safest, happiest stay. Please share: • Temperament: How they behave with new people, new dogs, and new environments. Any anxieties, fears, or triggers? • Routine: Their feeding schedule, potty schedule, sleep habits, and favorite comfort items. • Medical needs: Current medications, allergies, mobility issues, past surgeries, or anything I should monitor. • Vaccination status: All pups must be fully vaccinated and up-to-date on flea/tick prevention. • Behavior notes: Do they bark, chew, mark, escape, guard toys/food, or resource guard? Totally fine — I just like to be prepared. • Social style: Do they enjoy gentle play, prefer calm companionship, or need more personal space? • Gear: Do they come with a well-fitted collar or harness? Any special walking preferences? • Comfort preferences: Do they like cuddles, brushing, belly rubs, or quiet time alone? • Crate info: If they use a crate at home, let me know their crate routine and comfort level. • Emergency contacts: Your contact info, vet information, and a backup contact in case of emergencies.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
