Pet care is a big part of my daily routine! I spend a lot of time with my own dog—taking him on walks, to the creek, or just playing outside—so adding more pets to care for fits right in with my schedule. I'm usually very flexible and available most days, including for same-day requests. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a walk, or some playtime, I’m happy to make time and give your pet the attention they deserve.

I always treat every pet like they’re my own—with lots of love, patience, and attention. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at the client’s, I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I stick to their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any medication they may need. If I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure to keep everything clean and tidy. I always follow any instructions left for me and make sure to send lots of photo and video updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I can also bring my dog over for playtime if it’s a good fit! No matter the situation, I’m all about being dependable, flexible, and giving pets the care and love they deserve.

It’s really important for me to know as much as I can about your pet ahead of time so I can give them the best care possible. I’d love to know things like their daily routine, energy level, favorite activities, and any fears or dislikes they might have (like loud noises, other animals, or certain people). It’s also helpful to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or need medication, and how they usually do with new people or other pets. The more I know, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away!
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and engaged, so I always try to match their energy and personality. For dogs, that might mean going on walks, runs, or playing fetch in the yard. If they like water and it’s okay with you, I’d love to take them swimming or to a creek like I do with my own dog. I’m also happy to do training games, puzzle toys, or just cuddle and hang out if they prefer a more relaxed vibe. If your pet is social, I can bring my golden retriever along for some playtime (with your permission, of course). I really enjoy making sure pets are mentally and physically stimulated while having a great time!

Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Gia and I'm currently a senior at Misericordia University. I'm a huge animal lover and a proud dog mom to my golden retriever (you'll see him in most of the photos on my page—he's my whole personality!). We do everything together—walks, swimming, hiking, playing with other dogs, and hanging out at the creek. I've grown up around all kinds of animals including cats, dogs, birds, and bunnies. I also have a couple years of experience working at a kennel, where I cared for pets of all sizes and personalities—puppies, elderly dogs, jumpy or strong pullers, diabetic pets (both cats and dogs), and more. I’m comfortable giving medications (pills or injections) and can also trim nails if requested. When I'm not in class or studying, I enjoy going to the gym, being outdoors, swimming, and spending time with my family—and of course, my dog. I’m very dependable, caring, and flexible. Whether your pet just needs a potty break, a long walk or run, some playtime with my pup, or some loving company while you're away, I’ve got it covered. I always send lots of pictures and updates to keep you in the loop. I’d love to meet you and your furry family member!
