I have worked with animals for my entire life, and currently spend my days raising and caring for puppies of varying ages. I grew up in a rottweiler rescue, and spent the beginning of my career working as a veterinary assistant, and an animal control officer. I have worked all gambits of animal care, from Kennel technician to running one of the largest rescue departments in the country. I love to be surrounded by animals, and to be able to share our home and lives with them. If we're able to open our home to help other families be able to enjoy some time away from home, knowing their babies are safe and cared for, then that will add an additional sense of fulfillment to our lives!

My mind was at ease having my 3 babies being boarded at GerryLeah. She was able to juggle all 3 of my dogs very different personalities and needs with patience, grace, and love. Very clean and organized setup. Will definitely book again!

My husband and I both work from home and we now have a separate boarding building and a fully enclosed play-yard just for the pups who come to stay with us. Our guests are essentially never left unattended, since we both work from home, and we have 2 other family members who live on the other side of our property. Pet care IS my daily and weekly routine :)

Our kennel building is thoughtfully designed, featuring four separate, private runs for our guests. It’s fully temperature-controlled with both heat and air conditioning, ensuring comfort year-round. Each run is connected to its own private raised deck, which open into a fully enclosed play yard. Every run is equipped with a doggy door, giving dogs the freedom to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day. For safety, all dogs are securely enclosed in their runs overnight.

We are fortunate to have 6 acres of land, with 1 acre fully fenced and cleared, offering plenty of space for our dogs to enjoy. The fenced area is equipped with a variety of playground structures, providing endless opportunities for fun and exercise. The remaining 4 acres are wooded, perfect for hiking adventures. As long as the dogs enjoy walks and are well-mannered on a leash, we frequently take them on walks and hikes through the woods, weather permitting. Each morning, dogs are served breakfast and then enjoy at least an hour of supervised playtime in the private, fully fenced yard (between 7am and 9am). This playtime is designated only for dogs from the same family, ensuring that each dog has a safe and comfortable experience. We do not allow "daycare-style" playgroups with dogs from different households. The yard features an array of playground equipment and engaging activities. Afterward, they have access to both their inside and outside runs for the remainder of the day. If the temperature stays below 90°F, we offer additional afternoon playtime. Before bedtime, around sunset, we let the dogs out for another hour of supervised play, or a walk in the woods, depending on their preferences and the weather. Dinner is served at that time, and afterward, everyone is safely settled into their rooms for the night. All areas are monitored via cameras, so I can check in at any time, and I do a final night check to ensure all dogs are comfortable and content before we retire for the evening.
