I also babysit for a family on Wednesdays, so the rest of the week, I’m pretty set! I’ll let them know a week prior so nothing gets confused!

Safety, trust & environment
I’m all for safety! Knowing what foods are poisonous to animals, and very alert on potentials escapes! How to open a door with my whole body to stop kitties from escaping, or puppies from booking it. I also like to jot notes down just in case there’s something your pet is allergic to, or can cause tummy issues, to keep note of. Or really anything that’s note worthy!
Information Geri R. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know if there are major foods/items that are big no-nos, or even little no-nos. Like “we do not give treats to begging” or “they aren’t allowed on the couch”, etc. Just so I can continue to instill that type of discipline. I’d also love to know if ANY signs of aggression they may have. I personally have a dog who’s okay with me putting my face in his, but if anyone else does it, he’ll growl or nip. Any triggers they may have “I once sat for a dog who would get upset at any whistling. Or generally anything you deem noteworthy!
A typical day
I’m all for cuddling and going on walks! Playing fetch, or even just refining a few tricks, or trying to teach any. I’m not a professional trainer, but I wouldn’t mind the practice. I also just generally love interacting with them as a whole! If your pet is not much of a cuddler, then sweet words of affirmation, and petting is a-ok!

Pet care experience
My mother was a breeder for all sorts of dogs my entire upbringing, so learning dog body language is second nature! I’ve also been around all sorts of bully breeds and own one myself! So not bully prejudice here! I also have loads of chihuahuas, so I feel I’m comfortable working with a variety size of pets, and numbers. I’m also good with cats! So if you have a mixed household, it’s no extra sweat! From mastiffs, to huskies, German Sheppards, blue heelers, collies, to pit bulls, bull terriers, bulldogs, chihuahuas, weenie dogs, greyhounds, and pugs, i feel I can take care of them all!

Reviews

Overall great experience. We had a meet and greet a week before. I felt comfortable with Geri. Everything went well. Dogs were safe and happy. Geri sent pics of my dogs which was nice. It is such a relief to have found Rover!! We have grandkids we can now go visit more often!
She really gives them lots of love! I told her she just has to come in and feed them, but she kept me updated every time she’s arrive and when she’d leave! She really went above and beyond for my 3 dogs.
Very diligent with animal care, and very loving. Isn’t over confident with animals I tell her are skittish and respects their boundaries. My dogs seemed really happy with her!
