Loving and Caring Home for your Dog
We are retired and would love to welcome your dog into our home for daytime, evening, or overnight care. We offer a comfortable, cage-free environment, unless you prefer that your dog be crated. We only care for one guest dog at a time, so your pup will receive lots of individual attention and won’t be overwhelmed by a house full of unfamiliar dogs. We live in a home on the Port Charlotte/Englewood border and have a sweet little dog named GiGi who loves having a furry friend to play with. GiGi is definitely spoiled! She normally sleeps with us, and while staying here, your dog is welcome to sleep wherever he or she feels most comfortable. We want your pup to feel at home—and you can be sure they’ll get plenty of love and attention from us, too. We had our beloved Maltese, Bella, for 13 wonderful years, so we are very comfortable caring for senior dogs and administering medications when needed. We know how important it is to feel confident about who is caring for your pet. Our goal is to give your dog a safe, relaxed, loving home-away-from-home where they’re treated like part of the family until you return. We look forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐾💕

Geri did a great job with Ammy, our one year old Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever. Her communications were prompt and professional. When we dropped off Ammy, she first introduced her puppy, and made Ammy feel comfortable. When we picked Ammy up, she was happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great stay. Thanks Geri for helping make our trip to Niagara Falls more enjoyable.
I've known Geri for about 4 years or so. She's a very kind and thoughtful woman who absolutely adores her own dog. I'm completely confident she would be great with my big brutish dogs or the pets of anyone else who might need her services.
Geri is a great doggie mom! Your dog will be well cared for whenever she is watching your pet. Her dog is one of the most spoiled dogs I know.

Schedule
We are happily married and retired, living in East Englewood, which gives us plenty of time to provide your dog with lots of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. We have one miniature Cockapoo named GiGi, who is friendly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Since we’re retired, we have a very flexible schedule and are available for daytime, evening, and overnight care. Your dog will have plenty of company and won’t be left alone for long periods of time. 🐾💕

We have always been dog lovers and have had dogs in our home throughout our lives. To us, dogs aren’t just pets—they’re part of the family, bringing so much love, companionship, and comfort into our lives. We only care for one guest dog at a time, so your pup will receive plenty of individual attention in a calm, comfortable home environment. We’ll follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible and make sure they feel safe, secure, and loved while they’re with us. You can have peace of mind knowing your dog will be treated just like one of our own—and very well loved! 🐾💕

A typical day
We want your dog’s stay with us to feel as much like home as possibly. We’ll enjoy walks around our quiet neighborhood, playtime with GiGi, and plenty of attention, cuddles, and relaxation throughout the day. Your dog will have companionship throughout their stay. Either my husband or I will be with your dog at all times. **Sleeping arrangements:** Your dog can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable! GiGi normally sleeps with us, and your dog is welcome to do the same. We also have a crate available if that’s what your dog is accustomed to. The door can be left open if they simply enjoy having their own cozy space. Most importantly, we’ll follow your dog’s usual routine and preferences so they feel comfortable, safe, and at home while staying with us 🐾💕

- Since we have a small dog, we prefer to host small to medium-sized dogs. Before your dog’s stay, we’d love to know a little about them. Does your dog get along well with other dogs? Where do they normally sleep? Do they have any special dietary requirements, medications, routines, or other needs we should know about? The more we know about your dog’s personality, habits, and normal routine, the better we can make their stay feel just like home. 🐾💕
