I've been volunteering at animal shelters for almost two years and currently volunteer regularly at the Humane Society of Concord. Through my time there, I've worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I help with walking, enrichment, basic care, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and gets the attention they deserve. I don't have any pets of my own right now, but I've always loved animals, especially dogs. That's a big part of why I spend so much of my free time working/volunteering at the shelter. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I graduated from Wingate University and hope to continue building a career working with animals. Volunteering has taught me how to be patient, read canine body language, and adapt to each dog's needs. Whether your dog is full of energy and loves long walks or prefers a slower pace and extra patience, I'll make sure they get the care, attention, and exercise they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, therefore I plan to care for them as if they were my own! :)
