Update to my profile- we recently moved from San Diego to VA and i am continuing to watch dogs. We no longer live in SD so there will be new pictures of our house. I have grown up with many pets and have experience caring for them. My father used to train dogs for competitions and I used to go with him to the farm and play with the dogs. We even got lucky and adopted one. His name was minking (he was a field spaniel). He was our family dog. After I got married we moved and were not allowed to have dogs in the rental property so we adopted a cat and we named him stinky! He was our 1st baby. 7yrs ago we moved to San Diego and our stinky came with us. Unfortunately we hired our neighbor to watch our cat for a weekend and when we returned she gave us the bad news that she couldn't find our cat. It was devastating. Years passed and I've had kids and decided to wait to get our own pet. At the moment we can't but we hope so in our future. In the meantime I would love to take care of your pet. Also, we have nice yard in the back of our house and front. Dogs love it.

The dogs were taken care of and loved as if they were their own. Declan played soccer and came home exhausted (a tired terrier is a good terrier). Fanny got to have laps . Will book again. Highly recommend this family for your pets.
We had a family emergency and we needed someone to take our pups on short notice. Geraldine took them in shortly after the major snowstorm in January. Our dogs were well cared for and came back happy. Geraldine sent us daily updates with pictures. We will definitely board with her again!
Geraldine is a very kind, understanding and knowing Rover. Patty stayed with Geraldine and family for several days and when I dropped Patty off I could tell Patty was in good hands and would be well taken care of. It was the first time Patty did a sleepover anywhere except with family. I think Patty was a little anxious the first day but Geraldine assured me it was normal. I had originally considered one option to have Patty stay at a dog boarding center but I knew Patty would not like this at all, much better to stay in someone’s warm home. As a bonus, Geraldine’s husband, and young son were present when I dropped Patty and they both took a keen interest in Patty. Patty likes people so I knew the extra attention would be perfect. I hope to be able to call on Geraldine and family again for a Patty sleepover.
