Hi, I’m Geraldine! I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years, and animals have always been one of the biggest joys in my life. What started with adopting my own dog quickly became a passion for providing loving, reliable care to pets of all ages and personalities. Through Rover and private pet sitting, I’ve cared for pets in a variety of homes and environments, giving me experience adapting to different routines, personalities, and care needs. Two years ago, I lost my soul dog, Baby. While I’m not quite ready to have another pet of my own, caring for other people’s pets has become an incredibly meaningful way for me to stay connected to animals. Every pet I care for is treated with the same patience, kindness, and attention I gave my own. I have experience with puppies and kittens who need extra guidance, energetic dogs who love long walks and playtime, and senior pets who deserve gentle care, patience, and a consistent routine. I’m happy to follow your pet’s schedule, administer basic medications if needed, reinforce training, and accommodate any special instructions to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. As a remote worker, I spend much of my day at home, which means your pet gets plenty of companionship, supervision, and affection throughout the day. Whether we’re going on walks, playing fetch, enjoying cuddle time, or simply relaxing together while I work, I’ll make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and right at home. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while giving your pet a fun, safe, and loving experience. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend!

I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, cleaning up after myself and following each household's rules. Before booking, I schedule a virtual meet-and-greet with you and your pet to go over expectations, followed by an in-person walkthrough if we decide to move forward. Once the sit begins, I check in regularly with updates and photos, and I reach out right away if anything comes up that needs your input. After the sit, I follow up to make sure everything met your expectations. My main focus is your pets, but I'm happy to help with small extras like watering plants or grabbing the mail. I just ask that larger chores or non-pet-related tasks not be part of the sit.

Geraldine was an awesome dog/house sitter while we were away. We have one dog who gets nervous around new people and she was very patient with him giving him the time he needed to warm up to her. She was very responsive, timely and responsible making sure both our puppy and elderly dog got their walks in. She left our house super clean and was great checking in while we were gone with picture and videos of our fur babies. I would highly recommend Geraldine!

Schedule
I work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to tend to your pet! I try my best to keep my availability up to date and am able to move my schedule around to fit your needs. I’m here to help! :) As I like to keep all forms of communication consistent from the moment a request is sent to me and approved, I would truly appreciate serious inquiries for pet care as well as communication in advance if you need to cancel services. I like to respect others time and am hoping you will do the same for me! Thank you
