Reliable & Caring Pet Sitter
Dogs are my main passion, and I have experience caring for dogs in a variety of settings, from regular babysitting with family dogs to an overnight weekend dog sit. I particularly enjoy spending time with friendly, affectionate dogs and have a soft spot for long-haired and low-shedding breeds. During my weekend dog sit, I cared for a dog from Friday evening to Sunday, following their routine carefully, including feeding, companionship, two walks each day, and wiping their paws after walks. I have also babysat for several families with dogs, including caring for a very young Spaniel puppy who had only just joined the family. I really enjoyed getting to know him and learned how important patience, supervision and consistency are with a young puppy. I have also spent much of my life around a variety of other animals. I have experience caring for tortoises, my family has kept hens on and off since I was nine, and I have helped care for small pets including hamsters and degus. I have also completed cat drop-in visits, including administering an inhaler to a cat with asthma, so I am comfortable following detailed care and medication instructions. Although I don’t currently offer cat sitting due to allergies, this experience has strengthened my understanding of how important it is to follow each pet’s individual routine. I will always take the time to understand your dog’s personality, routine and needs. Whether they love long walks, playing, cuddling, or simply having someone around for company, I want them to feel safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. I am reliable, attentive and happy to provide regular updates and photos.

I understand that every animal is different, so I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medication, or favourite routines. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect. I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, plenty of attention, and a calm, reassuring presence while you’re away. If needed, I’m happy to provide regular photo and message updates so you know how they’re getting on. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and have experience caring for pets with specific needs, including administering an inhaler to a cat with asthma. I know how important it is to keep pets safe, secure, and happy in their familiar environment.

Georgina was an amazing sitter for our dog, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. She stayed overnight for the long weekend and took exceptional care of him throughout. He was walked twice a day, his paws were cleaned every time he came back inside, and he was given plenty of love, attention, and care. It was so reassuring knowing he could stay in his normal routine with someone so thoughtful, reliable, and conscientious. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog, and the house was just as we left it. We highly recommend Georgina to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter.
Georgina was absolutely fantastic, and I can’t recommend her highly enough! She took such wonderful care of our cats, checking in regularly, giving them plenty of treats, playtime, and lots of attention. We really appreciated the updates, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. One of our cats requires an inhaler when needed, and Georgina handled this with great care and confidence. It was such a relief knowing our cats were in such capable and compassionate hands. We came home to happy, relaxed cats, and it was clear they had been very well looked after. We’d happily book with Georgina again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.

Schedule
Pet care fits around my weekly routine, and I only accept bookings that I have enough time to commit to properly. During term time I work in a school, so evenings are particularly convenient for walks, drop-in visits and pet care after the school day. I am also generally available during weekends and have greater flexibility during school holidays. I am unavailable from Friday evening through Saturday due to my regular Sabbath observance, so I will not accept bookings that require care during this time. I value consistency and reliability, so I will always make sure that I can give your pet the time, attention, exercise and companionship they need before accepting a booking.
