Student vet nurse who loves animals
The first animals I ever looked after were my Grandparents dogs, Monty & Dash (Bichon Frise). After my Grandma passed away I helped my Grandad look after the dogs and I loved it! I studied Animal Management at college for 3 years where I graduated and gained my animal care knowledge and skill. I’ve previously worked in a veterinary surgery for 7 years and have looked after friends, family and colleagues pets. Im able to administer animal medications and have lots of experience with all aspects of animal care. In 2025 I enrolled as a student vet nurse and I'm currently working towards my full qualification.

When looking after pets in their own home, I focus on making sure their usual routine is kept the same to reduce stress and keep them comfortable. This includes providing meals at the correct times, regular exercise and enrichment, and administering any required medication. I also ensure their environment remains clean and safe, while monitoring their health and wellbeing closely. My aim is to provide reliable, high-quality care so owners can feel confident their pets are in safe hands.

We are so pleased to have found Georgie, she is excellent with our young dog Billie. Billie warmed to her straight away and i feel its because Georgie has a very calm presence and knows exactly how to manage her excitable energy. Georgie was completely un-phased and confident when looking after our dog and that provided us with the reassurance we needed, to know she was being well looked after. I would highly recommend Georgie.
Georgie was fantastic with Brandy! 🐾 She kept in touch throughout the stay with regular texts and photos, which gave me real peace of mind. Brandy took to her straight away, and it was clear she was really well cared for. Couldn’t ask for better—thank you, Georgie!
Georgie has been fab from the first message. Was great to meet each other and with the dogs who instantly loved Georgie! Then great communication and two happy doggos following their walk!

This was our second time leaving Monty in Georgie’s care while we went on a family holiday - this time he stayed at her home rather than her staying at ours. Monty was instantly comfortable with her and settled in brilliantly. We received plenty of updates and felt completely at ease knowing he was in such safe and kind hands. We couldn’t recommend Georgie more highly!
Georgie was amazing. We were very anxious about leaving our dogs with anyone as we had never done this before and they are both nervous of strangers. Georgie put our minds at rest, met us for a walk prior to our booking and kept in regular contact. She looked after the dogs for a week in our home. The dogs loved having her stay and were very happy. She left our house clean and tidy which isn't easy with 2 muddy labradors. We loved receiving pictures and updates whilst we were away. We will definitely use Georgie again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

Schedule
I left my role at a veterinary surgery in 2023 to volunteer with animals abroad and spend some time travelling. In 2025, I began training as a student veterinary nurse and am currently studying remotely, which means I have good availability. While I’m not able to take pets into my own home at the moment, I can provide care in your home, offer drop-in visits, take pets for walks, and help with vet appointments or transport.

- I’m more than happy to care for any dog, but it’s really important that you share any behaviours or needs that could be considered ‘undesirable.’ For example, if your dog isn’t friendly with other dogs, struggles to be left alone, feels anxious around traffic, needs to stay on lead, loves to chase, or dislikes car travel, please let me know. This helps me prepare properly and provide the safest, most suitable care for your pet. I kindly ask that all information on Rover is kept accurate and up to date.
