I love being a pet sitter!! 🐾
I'm a crazy cat lady at home - I have four. They mean the world to me and have seen me through a lot. That's one reason that I took a chance on pet sitting so many years ago. I wanted a job that I could work around my life as an artist and pet sitting seemed like a good fit. It turned out to be so much more. I started out just walking dogs. Now, I have experience with several kinds of dogs and cats of various sizes, breeds and ages, I also have experience with snakes, lizards, bunnies and even hedgehogs. I know how to give insulin to a cat and allergy pills to a stubborn bulldog. Lol! I love spending the night with pups that don't like to be alone. I've picked up puppies after surgery and just sat with old dogs that couldn't get around anymore. I've seen a lot while caring for people's pets. I take the responsibility seriously. For that, the reward has been the love I receive from all my clients, past and present.

I follow whatever schedule or routine that a pet is familiar with. I believe that in home pet care is the best option for any pet. When their parents are away, many fur babies get stressed. I feel that it is important that they are in a safe space and surrounded by familiar things. Whether it's walks, playing inside or out, feeding, medication or simply snuggles, I'll be there for them on their turf.

You won't be disappointed hiring Georgie. We are very picky pet parents, VERY picky and we couldn't be happier with her. She has been walking our dog and caring for our cats for several years now. She is everything you look for. She is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and most importantly, dependable. I can count on one hand the number of times she has had to cancel in all our time working together. Georgie sends me pictures at every visit and caters to each of my pet's personalities and needs. I highly recommend!
Georgie is a wonderful pet caregiver! She takes care of my cat when I'm out of town and provides regular dog walks for my dog. She has been through all of the phases with my dog - from his younger, crazier, pull-you-around-the-neighborhood teens through his now much slower paced walks as he gets up there in years. She is patient and kind and genuinely loves my pets. She is also flexible with her schedule - able to accommodate changes to plans and last minute needs. She is part of our family!
Georgie has been caring for my 2 cats for several years now. Whenever I am away, she comes over twice a day to feed and visit with them. My older cat was abused in his former home and is terrified of people, but he has learned to trust Georgie. I feel that my cats are being well cared for when I need to be away from home and Georgie is looking after them. She sends me photos and updates when she is taking care of them, which makes me feel good. She is a fantastic artist as well and we have some of her art in our home.

Schedule
Pet care is essentially my full time job. I am an artist, so I don't have a traditional schedule. That means that I'm very flexible. I can do nights, days, weekends, holidays. I take pride in always being available for my clients.

- I always like to meet you and your pet in person before the actual service, just so we all have a chance to sniff each other out. Lol!
