Pet care experience

Trusted, caring and reliable dog people!

Hello, we are Georgie and Dan and we own a 5 year old cockapoo called Toby - who we’re completely obsessed with. We also have extensive experience fostering dogs through a rescue charity, caring for everything from tiny puppies to nervous adults and even a pregnant foster. Georgie has also received her CPD Certificate in First Aid training. This has given us a deep understanding of different personalities, behaviours, and needs. We’re confident managing routines, feeding, walks, training basics, and administering medication. We are also especially experienced with dogs who need extra patience, whether that’s settling into a new environment, coping with separation anxiety, or building confidence. Above all, we treat every dog as if they were out own – with love, consistency, and plenty of care.

A great feeling from A to Z. Georgie has a very natural way with dogs and River felt right at home from minute 1 - perhaps too much at home that we almost felt betrayed from the very cosy pictures - which is exactly what you want for your dog when you’re away! So a massive thank you to Georgie and her husband. I can hear River asking for more 😤😁

Woody had such a great time with Georgie, Dan and Toby! I got lots of messages and pictures keeping me up to date on their adventures together. I was kept at ease the whole time knowing he was being so well looked after. We are already looking forward to his next stay!

Georgie was absolutely fantastic with Ralphie and he had a lovely time with her and her gorgeous dog Toby. Georgie asked all the right questions to get to know Ralphie ahead of his daycare and she kept me up to date with fun photos throughout his time with her. I felt so comfortable leaving Ralphie with Georgie, I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and thoughtful home from home for their dog!

Georgie is a most welcoming person and looked after Willow extremely well. Willow even came home cleaner, sweeter smelling and better trained than before. Plenty of long, tiring walks and her own dog, Toby, got on well with her. Easy introduction, drop off and pick up. A perfect holiday break for Willow. Thank you.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Georgie to look after your furry loved ones. She is kind, caring, dependable and has a natural way with animals that makes them feel safe and loved instantly. Her dog, Toby, is also so, so friendly and gets along really well with other dogs. If you are looking for a reliable and caring home for your pets to stay, this is it.

Schedule

Pet care is already a big part of our life with our own dog, Tobes. Having fostered dogs regularly, we are used to planning our days around walks, feeding times, play, and quiet time. There is always someone working from home, which means dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy plenty of company and attention throughout the day. Walks and play sessions slot naturally into our daily routine, and evenings are usually spent giving them lots of love and comfort. Caring for pets isn’t something we fit in around life – it’s something we build our routine around.

Safety, trust & environment

In our home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They get a safe, calm and loving environment with lots of attention, play, and walks suited to their age and energy levels. We stick to their usual routines for feeding, exercise, and rest so they feel secure, and we’re happy to accommodate any special requirements such as medication or training needs. I am also CPD certificated in dog first aid.

A typical day

We love off lead walks in a secure field nearby. However, very happy to have your dog on a lead at all times if required. We have lickimats and peanut butter at home and we love training fun commands.
