We are fortunate enough to be at home all day, free to make our own schedules. Our dog is never left on his own, so yours won't be either. We will be more than happy to provide regular photos /videos and updates each day. I walk our dog in the common daily, usually 5 to 7 km, come rain or shine. The walks are a mix of free sniffing and roaming around the woods, obedience commands, find it games and off lead control. We sometimes come across horse riders, cyclists, children, deer, squirrels, wild birds, so please make me aware if your dog is not good with any of the above. These are good events to reinforce obedience training.

Our garden is vast and fenced off. Whether out in the garden or inside, our dog is our shadow and follows our tempo, as trained. Always with us, always by our side so keeping him safe is paramount. We are in the middle of a self build, with my husband being the designer, project manager and most likely doing some activities too, so exciting times ahead. Our old bungalow has been demolished and the the our build is progressing slowly but surely. I attached pictures of our current abode, of which we are really proud and which we built ourselves. Back garden is safe and plenty big enough to explore.

Please let us know more about your dog's temperament around other dogs, animals as well as any dietary requirements, treatments, allergies, any fears or dislikes, sleeping arrangements and any training you would like us to reinforce. Please make us aware of any quirks, fears or worries in order to preempt any future situations. We want your dog to be home from home and really enjoy his/her time away also. We would also like to know whether their walks are on/off lead with reliable recall. Please ensure that their vaccines, deworming, flea and tick treatments are up to date at the point of booking.
A typical day
The 500 acre common we live in is like an extension to our garden and we love exploring it daily with Buddy and other dogs. The lakes are good for doggie swimming, the woods offer plenty of smells to sniff and playing fetch or find it are the preferred game on our daily walks.

Pet care experience
We are proud dog parents in the middle of what we call a dog's paradise, 500 acres of ancient expanse of woodland, grassland, lakes and natural spring water. The common has an abundance of wildlife and is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) by Natural England. Our property is the last along the lane so we have no passing traffic. It's ideal for dogs and nature lovers alike, a truly subversive sensory experience on or off lead. My husband, our Labraspoodle dog Buddy and I, all love it here, we are really hands on and enjoy training as well as enrichment play, lengthy walks and cuddling on the sofa. We have always had pets around, loved and cared for animals. We have knowledge in obedience training and trained Buddy from 6 weeks old, so we will happily reinforce any training practice your dog is learning. Our garden is securely fenced and always accessible for roaming, toilet breaks, ball fetching or basking in the sun. We have toys, beds, treats and chews as well as lots of games for brain stimulation and enrichment. Your dog will be looked after like one of our own. We can provide short or lengthy walks depending on your dog's needs, plenty of exercise and play, lots of cuddles and restful naps, treats and rewards.

Our dog Roxey couldn’t have been happier spending the week with Georgie and her lovely dog Buddy. Our dog absolutely loves staying with Georgie! Georgie takes fabulous care of her, going on lovely walks, getting some training in, and having some nice treats. Georgie has also helped with looking after her ears which sometimes play up. We get regular updates and drop off/pick ups are very easy. We highly recommend her!
Georgie sent us photos and videos of Baileys stay with her and the play and walks he enjoyed, and he was clearly a very happy dog. He will definitely be back again, thank you Georgie : )
Maggie our cockapoo spent a lovely day with Georgie on 5th July. She settled in very quickly bearing in mind this was her first visit and we received some videos and pictures during the day to provide those reassurances. Very well looked after, we are now looking forward to Georgie having Maggie again on 1-9 Aug. Thanks Georgie. 🐶
