Pet care experience
Can I pet that dawg?
I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I promise you never have to hear my jokes, but your dogs probably will at some point during our walks.) If you need a weekday dog walker, I’m your gal! You will also have ample notice for any time that I am traveling out of town for shows as my tours are booked the year prior. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients!

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.
Ratings and reviews
Georgia has been a phenomenal sitter for our pup, a high energy, playful, but also somewhat apprehensive 9-month-old mini sheepadoodle. She is thorough in meeting all of our pup’s needs, including playing with her, working with her to go on walks outside, feeding her as we requested, and leaving detailed summaries for us on the visit- pictures included! We would highly recommend Georgia for sitting or walking services, and look forward to using her more!

Lucky you for choosing Georgia to walk or care for your dog! The only being in our household to love and appreciate Georgia more than my husband and I was Chester, our Bernadoodle. He did spins every day when she walked in the door. Georgia walked Chester for a year before leaving Pittsburgh for Charlotte. I'd rehire her in a minute. I was never concerned about Chester's wellbeing when Charlotte was with him, and I never worried about her having access to our home. She was caring, reliable and trustworthy.
