Pet care experience
Walking dogs and taking care of pets in NYC
I have had dogs since I was born. I started looking after my dogs more when I was a teenager and now I have my own dog Leo. I completed a Dog First Aid Emergency Canine Care certification (see photos) in March because I travelled alone with Leo for 3 months around Europe in a campervan and wanted to know how to deal with any situation involving his health. I volunteered at the Dog's Trust charity whilst studying. I think being with dogs, nature and walking can be very relaxing and a nice escape from a stressful life. I just came from a year of teaching in Thailand and I am now looking for pet-sitting in NYC!

Georgia was very relaxed but capable young woman, and took good care of my dog. She has a nice house and garden and gave him exercise. I definitely use her dog sitting services again.

Georgia was great with my dog, she took him on exciting long walks and gave him lots of cuddles, he loves being dog sat by her. You can really see her love for animals. Would definitely recommend her and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.

Schedule
Dogs play a significant role in my daily and weekly routine, while in Thailand I volunteered to feed and look after stray dogs when I wasn’t teaching. With a lot of spare time on my hands and a strong passion for animals, providing pet care and dog walking services align perfectly with my current goals.

We walks to the parks on our doorstep or a few minutes by car to more walking trails. Wooden floors to easily clean any messes!

A typical day
My typical day with Leo involves a nice morning walk, a treat when we get back, some breakfast and then a nap (chores for me). Playtime and maybe some training? We have forest and beaches nearby so if the weathers nice I tend to take Leo there. We have another walk in the afternoon and then back for dinner and playtime. Leo tends to go to bed at 8pm as he’s tired after a long day of playing, walks and cuddles.
