I know that pets are happiest when they can stay in their own familiar surroundings, so I'll do everything I can to keep their routine as normal as possible while you're away. I'll make sure your pet is fed on schedule, has fresh water at all times, gets plenty of exercise and playtime, and receives lots of love and attention tailored to their personality. Whether your dog enjoys long walks and games or your cat prefers quiet companionship and gentle affection, I'll adapt my care to meet their individual needs. I'll also keep your home clean and tidy by picking up after your pet, cleaning litter trays, washing food and water bowls, and leaving everything just as I found it. If your pet requires medication, I'm happy to administer it according to your instructions. Throughout my visits, I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I'll treat both your home and your pets with the same care and respect that I would my own, ensuring you return to a content pet and a tidy home.

Please let me know if there are any specific instructions regarding your pet and it's care. A meet up can be arranged free of charge prior to the pet sit to meet each other in person for any reassurances/planning that needs to be done.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I'll tailor activities to suit their age, personality, and energy level to keep them happy, engaged, and comfortable. For dogs, this might include walks, games of fetch, tug toys, scent games, exploring new walking routes (where appropriate), and plenty of playtime in the garden. I'll also spend time practising basic commands or tricks if that's part of their normal routine, helping to keep their minds active as well as their bodies. For cats, I'll provide interactive play with feather wands, balls, laser toys (used safely), puzzle toys, and enrichment activities that encourage their natural hunting instincts. I'll also make time for gentle grooming, cuddles, or simply sitting quietly with them if they prefer a more relaxed approach. Most importantly, I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of one-to-one attention, affection, and companionship. My goal is for them to feel happy, loved, and settled while you're away, so their time with me is enjoyable, stress-free, and full of positive experiences.

I have both owned and looked after many animals over the years - including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, also hamsters & rabbits.
