Animals make a home complete ❤️
I have loved animals all my life and seeked out every opportunity to care for them! I started with Guinea pigs as a child but nowadays I enjoy the company of cats and dogs. I have cared for our family dog for years and helped her with operation recovery and all the joys of everyday care! I first started caring for pets on Rover in 2022. For the last couple of years I have been travelling around and caring for pets with trusted house sitters. Now I am based in Lancaster and excited to meet some new local cats and dogs to look after.

Our Theo had a wonderful time with Georgia & Lasha. At 10 1/2 years old, this was the first time Theo had stayed with anyone else other than family. As soon as we meet Georgia and Lasher, Theo and ourselves felt instantly at ease. We received some wonderful photos and updates of our boy, and it was evident he really enjoyed his stayed there. Theo is already booked in for another couple of stays and we feel very content with this. Thank you to you both for looking after our boy 🐾

Our Theo had a wonderful time with Georgia and Lasha! They were sending us pictures and updates about his day. He was comfortably cuddling them and felt at home quite easily. We are very grateful as this was the first time we didn't take our boy on holidays with us. We were worried about finding someone who could understand his reactivity and handling a big dog like him during walks, but Georgia was absolutely brilliant!

Schedule
I work from home all week and so am available often and at late notice. I love nature and like to take regular walks myself so taking a furry friend with me only adds to my routine! I’m very flexible within the work day and am an early riser so very happy to fit into your pets routine. At the weekend I like to spend lots of time outdoors and enjoy the local parks - plenty of opportunity for a doggo to have fun!

Safety, trust & environment
I think it’s most important to understand and get to know each animal as an individual. Once I’ve established what routine and type of care works for your pet, then I will make sure to commit to that with love and care. Inside my house any animal will be welcome to explore any area they like - and I’m always on hand to offer supportive cuddles and/or a willing playmate! I know both mental and physical stimulation is super important so I will ensure that our outside time involves lots of new smells, textures and routes. If I’m coming into your home then I will respect your wishes, whilst always keeping the safety and happiness of your pet paramount.
A typical day
For me there is no typical day when it comes to caring for someone else’s pet, as it really depends on the needs and preferences of that particular animal. However, a rough guideline would involve a morning walk and play in the fresh air followed by everybody refuelling and chilling at home. Depending on the weather we might go out for a few errands in town or a longer adventure somewhere in nature. If your little one likes to play with toys then I will make sure there is plenty of time for that in the garden or house as well.
