Safety, trust & environment
For drop-in visits, I generally arrive and give the dog some attention/play time, then I will check water, food (if needed), and then will take them outside for a walk/potty break. For cats, it depends a lot, but I try to keep the same habit and swap the walk for cleaning the litter box. If house sitting, I will do my best to be as present as I can in the home, but this depends on my work schedule and owner requests. Dogs can be taken out 2-4 times per day.
Information Georgia G. would like to know about your pet
- general feeding and potty schedule - how big - shedding status - any medications and schedule for taking - any situations that make your dog uncomfortable/nervous/aggressive - any other special needs - are they good with other dogs (I have a small dog of my own)?
A typical day
For drop-ins, I can spend time entertaining your dog in whatever capacity requested–indoor or outdoor play. I enjoy fetch, tug of war, and encourage the zoomies if there is room for it. If cats want to play, I’m happy to engage in fetch or chasing toys. For walks, I will use the entire half hour (or hour upon request) to give your dog the exercise it needs to be healthy and to get tired out. I am a runner, so I am also happy to run with your dog given they are well-behaved and there are appropriate weather conditions.

Pet care experience
I have worked with small, medium, and large breeds of dogs in addition to cats and plant care. I’ve loved animals forever and genuinely enjoy getting to meet all of your wonderful pets. I work in fitness so I would love to go for walks, runs, or hikes with your pets (I even have a backpack for my own little dog to join on hikes).

i wish there were more stars options, because georgia would get them all! we weren’t sure how our pup would do with someone brand new after being in the car for 9 hours, but he went to her immediately. she took excellent care of him and quickly learned how to “read” him. ❤️ she sent pictures and updates throughout the evening, too! 100/10 recommend. thank you so much, georgia!

Georgia was very patient with our elderly, anxious Border Collie, Bella. She respected Bella's boundaries and creatively found ways of sneaking her medicine in her food. There was one incident early on in which Bella bit Georgia, but Georgia handled it very professionally and let us know. She continued to try to help Bella feel more comfortable and by the end of the stay they appeared very comfortable with each other! Georgia was a very good communicator and sent great photos of Bella.

Had a great experience during a couple days away! Communicaiton was great, received updates and photos throughout the stay!

When we realized family could not keep Lola,as had been anticipated Georgia & Rover came to our rescue! Georgia came ahead of start date for a meet & greet with our skittish Lola. Georgia sent photos and reports everyday and did a good job on keeping on the skedule we set with her.
