I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and genuinely treat every pet as if they were my own. I grew up with Golden Retrievers and regularly helped care for them when my parents travelled, so looking after animals has always been a natural part of my life. Alongside dogs, I’ve owned four cats, including two rescues with completely different personalities and needs. One of my rescues was a 15-year-old cat who had only ever known one owner and was extremely nervous and defensive when I first adopted her. Over several months, I patiently built trust with her until she became my little shadow, constantly wanting cuddles and attention. I also rescued a kitten found abandoned under a car at just four weeks old, who is now a confident, energetic, and very loving cat. I’m comfortable caring for cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, including senior pets, young animals, and those who are anxious or shy. I’m also comfortable administering oral medication where needed. I work from home, which gives me flexibility throughout the day for walks, feeding, companionship, and regular check-ins. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pets with someone else, so I’m always happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages tailored to what each owner prefers. Alongside pet care, I’m reliable, calm, and attentive to detail. I hold a DBS check, have references available, and I’m also happy to help with small household tasks whilst you’re away, such as bringing in post or taking in deliveries. For me, pet sitting is never just about feeding animals and leaving. I genuinely enjoy building trust with them and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable whilst their owners are away.
