I was a volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society (OHS) for six years, caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I now work as an Animal Care Technician at an animal Shelter. My experience goes beyond feeding and walking animals—I’ve been trained in animal wellbeing, calm handling, basic behavioral training, basic grooming, introducing new dogs to other dogs, playgroups, pack walks, and leadership. I can also administer some medications if needed as well. At OHS, I served as a team lead, led tours, ran camps, trained new volunteers, and even taught a few classes. I hold a FearFree Animal Wellbeing Certification, a Breaking Up A Dog Fight Certification, and I have completed numerous training courses, and earned multiple certifications and achievements through OHS. I’m organized, dependable, and experienced, ensuring every pet in my care is safe, happy, and well-loved. Some fun animal facts about me: I’ve ridden a camel, petted a shark, and used to ride horses! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is my passion. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets, and I look forward to giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve!
