Qualified animal keeper!
Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile! Below you can see my qualifications and experience with multiple different breeds and species of animals. I would also like to add that I have had a range of pets, from millipedes to mantis, rats, hamsters, dogs and cats, as well as guinea pigs! I feel extremely confident that I would be a great pick for your furry friend! EXPERIENCE: I have 2+ years experience working with animals, including exotics and large animals, specifically at ROARRR! Where I worked in the secret animal garden, and Easton College’s animal centre as a student technician. I also have had 4 month work experience at Banham Zoo. Because of this, I am not only highly trained in basic animal husbandry and care, but also in providing medication, as well as being very outdoors-y and physically fit. QUALIFICATIONS: I also have my level 2 animal care qualification, and am about to receive my level 3 diploma in animal management. In September I leave for university, where I have a non conditional offer in zoology.

Safety, trust & environment
I have 3 clean DBS checks, as well as a history of great animal care. I finished my level 2 animal care course with full distinctions, and my predicted grades for my level 3 diploma in animal management is the same! I have 2+ years working directly with animals and being one of many staff to look after them and care for them. I am also trained in giving oral medication, but am confident in giving injections to animals of good temperament.

Georgia was absolutely brilliant! We were away for 2 weeks and she kept us up to date everyday! The house was so tidy and the cats were happy and comfortable! Couldn’t have asked for more…really glad we booked with Georgia! :-)
So grateful we found Georgia - she looked after our people-shy Schnauzer for a drop-in-and-out-day and was so incredibly understanding and patient with her (and us!). From dropping in a for a first meeting and staying a while to wait for Winter to get comfortable with her, to learning the games and snack-strategies we use to get her comfortable, and even patiently and slowly persisting on the day until Winter was comfortable to play with her (unprecedented for her to play with a new person so soon!). I highly recommend Georgia for her understanding, calm and thoughtful approach, and lovely presence.

Schedule
I’m currently working on a 0 hour contract for an animal based role, where shifts are few and far between, so I have lots of spare time on my hands to care for your animal(s)!
