Let me know your pet’s preferences and general temperament. Are they good with strangers or other pets we may run into in the neighborhood? Do they have any special care needs or favorite treats or toys? Really whatever you feel is necessary for me to know. The rest I look forward to learning as we go!
A typical day
I am a big fan of long walks at your dog’s own required pace. Shorter walks with lots of sniffing around the neighborhood can be just as helpful and stimulating for them for which I have plenty of patience. I would like to get to know your dog’s preferred method of play, from tug to fetch and everything in between. I also believe in relaxed quality time together and (if applicable) trips to their favorite nearby places like parks or nature preserves. The same goes for feline friends with obviously a bit of a different approach. I am very comfortable giving them affection or their space, whichever they may need. Cats often have a favorite toy or two, which I would love to use for play time.

I have been caring for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have a pitbull boxer mix named Pepper at home as well as three cats. I am fully experienced with all aspects of their care including walking, feeding, administering medication, spending quality time, and more. I believe in positive reinforcement only and am well acquainted with pets of any age, size, or temperament.

George is one of the most thoughtful, gentle, and kind men I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. He approaches each and every animal with love and awareness that they may need to come to him on their own time. I personally have some picky little creatures, and each of them adore him. I don’t think George has ever met a pet that he hasn’t eventually won over, even if they rarely like people. He has always cared for my pets with love and tenderness, and wants the best for them just as I do.
