We share our home with Lemmy, our 3-year-old German Shepherd–Rottweiler cross. He has a fantastic temperament and an excellent ability to read other dogs. If a dog wants to play, he’ll happily join in for hours; if they prefer space, he’ll respect that and leave them alone. He’s calm, well-balanced, walks reliably off-lead, and often has a soothing influence on more nervous or excitable dogs. We have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including reactive dogs. Over the years, we’ve boarded more than 100 different dogs and have experience both walking dogs individually and managing pack walks. This means we’re confident assessing behaviour, managing group dynamics, and tailoring care to each dog’s individual needs. Our home is a welcoming, relaxed, and safe space where dogs are treated as part of the family. Dogs are welcome on the sofa, can bring their own bed, or are more than welcome to use Lemmy’s. We aim to provide a calm, loving environment so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
