One-on-One Dog Care - Safe & Trusted
Hi, I’m George — an animal lover, NHS emergency planner, and proud pet parent to one very pampered dog and two mischievous house rabbits. I know how much our pets mean to us — they’re family. I offer boarding and daycare in a calm, home-from-home environment with personalised, one-on-one care. I only care for one or two dogs at a time, so each pet gets plenty of attention, supervision, and affection — whether that’s sofa cuddles, enrichment, gentle routines, or relaxed companionship while you’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes, including bouncy youngsters and older dogs who prefer a quieter pace. I’m also happy to offer walks where needed, but I’m especially well suited to dogs who benefit from a steady home routine and lots of company. Comfort matters here: in the hot weather there are paddling pools (with your permission), fans/air conditioning, and fresh water bowls galore. In the colder months, the house is warm and cosy — perfect for a snooze by the log burner after a walk. For everyone’s safety, I welcome fully vaccinated pets into my home. A wonderful stay again at George's Hotel and Spa! Indy was a bit out of sorts with the thunderstorms and George took it all in his stride and managed to settle her in no time. She really has found a second home, and George is now very much my go to sitter! Thank you again :-)
Indy had another wonderful stay at George’s as usual. Always comes back home having had a mini holiday herself. Fully pampered and relaxed! Her and Daisy have become firm friends!
As usual Indy has a lovely time at George’s! So well looked after and lots of photo updates. So great to have the peace of mind that Indy is in good hands while I’m away!
We felt immediately at ease leaving Tess with George and we were kept updated later in the day that she had settled well and that was good to hear as we hadnt left her with anyone other than family I would recommend George and definitely will be happy to use again .

Another wonderful stay for Indy with George. She always has a brilliant time hanging out with Daisy and is treated as one of the family, which is so lovely to know. George’s communication, as usual, is top notch, receiving lovely photos and updates. She is already looking forward to her next visit!

I currently work from home, which gives me the flexibility to get up and about as needed. This includes spending time with the animals and going on walks.

Our pets have free roaming of the ground floor and garden (weather permitting). The house has portable air conditioning, fans, cooling mats, and doggy ice cream to keep them cool in the hot weather, and cosy blankets and snugs for the colder months. Every animal is treated as my own and cared for with love and attention.

A typical day here is all about fun, comfort, and making your dog feel right at home. The day usually starts with a good stretch, breakfast, and a bit of garden play. If it’s warm out, expect some splashing in the doggy paddling pool - always a hit! Your pup will also have the chance to play with our own friendly one-year-old cockapoo, Daisy, who loves a game of fetch or catch. I tailor the day to suit your dog’s energy and personality. If they’re playful and full of beans, we’ll enjoy games in the garden, enrichment toys, and plenty of outdoor time. If your dog is more relaxed, they’re just as welcome to curl up next to me for sofa cuddles while I work from home. There’ll be regular walks, plenty of fuss, and lots of love. Whether your dog prefers action-packed playtime or gentle company and cuddles, they’ll feel right at home here.
