I've volunteered at the Evanston Animal Shelter for several years, where I work directly with dogs of all temperaments, including anxious, reactive, and high-energy dogs. I know how to read dog body language, handle leash behavior, and keep walks calm and safe. I've owned dogs my whole life and understand that every dog has its own personality and needs.

Your home and your dog's routine get my full respect. I follow whatever instructions you leave; feeding schedules, medications, quirks, all of it. I've worked with dogs of all temperaments at the Evanston Animal Shelter, so I'm comfortable handling anxious or reactive dogs calmly and safely. I'll always leave things exactly as I found them.

Schedule
I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so I have real flexibility those days for drop-ins and check-ins. Weekends I'm generally available, as well. I'm not able to host dogs at my place (I have a dog-reactive dog at home), but I'm happy to come to you; your dog stays comfortable in their own home and their routine stays intact.
