Welcome to my home
I have taken care of pets for the last 40 years; from dogs, bunnies and cats to birds and crested gekos; beautiful little stories can be written. I enjoy pet sitting because it is an opportunity for me to interact, observ and appreciate what the world of animals brings to my own world. Animals are special, kind and loving; because I bring gentleness and a safe place for them when their owners are not with them, makes me feel useful and appreciated. My friends and neighbors know that I absolutely love and respect all animals and they know they can drop off their furry friends at our place when they leave for the weekend or for lengthier vacations. I know how to feed them, give them meds, play with them, wash and groom them, and most importantly I know how to respect and care for them! Pets are welcome in my home; they can be young or seniors, playful or quiet and they should not be suffering of a contagious health condition that can impact other pets or humans. I need to know from you if they need medical attention so I can keep them safe upon your return.

Gentiana is a very kind, dog-loving sitter! Our dog Max is a very high maintenance, young Vizsla. Gentiana was happy to accommodate his raw food diet, and handle all his indoor accidents due to excitement pee! Max really enjoys his time in her home.
With Gentiana, I felt at ease leaving Forest. It's clear she loves animals! Forest stayed with Gentiana all weekend with no issues. I highly recommend Gentiana!

Gentiana was so wonderful with our high energy dog! She had other dogs at the home so he had built in best friends! She sent updates and pictures every day which we loved getting!! We will absolutely be booking with her again!! Highly recommend!!
Amazing individual. such a kind & pure soul. I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with Gentiana. Was able to take my Doberman same day due to a medical emergency. Kept me updated and now I’ve gained a friend. Her home was great and a great backyard. Would def book again!
Gentiana went above and beyond to take care of my kitten. The extra play time and love my kitten received was so appreciated.

Animals are extraordinary creatures, I respect them, I treat them as part of the family therefore I do the best I can to create an harmonious and safe environment for them,
A typical day
I play inside the house and also outdoors with their favorite toys, sometimes I teach them new games that I have learned from playing with other dogs.
