I have watched multiple dogs for family and friends over the years and I've also fostered/rescued and re-homed over 7 dogs in the last 20 years some of whom came to me in pretty rough shape and I cared for them until they reached their full potential and were ready to be loved by another family. If i could have kept them all I would have but I had to make room for the next fur baby in need.

I currently work full-time as a RN but have the opportunity to work from home on a regular basis. My animals are never left home alone for an extended period of time. I also have a large cages with lots of clean blankets for boarders to be put in for a short amount of time if need be.
Information Genre B. would like to know about your pet
I am pretty open to any breed, any size, any gender, any age. It is important that any dog i watch is good with kids and gets along with other dogs as I often watch multiple dogs at once however I do keep dogs separated until I've watched them multiple times and know their personalities. Current vaccinations are a requirement as well as flea/tick treatments.
A typical day
There will be lots of cuddles and lots of play time either with myself or my son. We'll go on walks weather permitting or just snuggle up on the couch under blankets if it's chilly.

Pet care experience
I've had a love of animals ever since i can remember. Growing up we always had a dog as part of the family along with a multitude of other pets and I can't imagine it any other way. I've raised dogs from puppies and loved them until their last breath. I have puppy pads available for those who are not yet trained and those who have lost their ability to tell you when they need to go. I am a Registered Nurse and am very familiar with giving not only oral and topical medications but injections as well. I also have an amazing vet I've been going to for over 15 years, literally within minutes from my house just in case the unexpected happens.

Genre is amazing! We have two working dogs with higher energy and she was super understanding and playful with them. She's also values communication. She texted me every day and kept me in the loop if she was running behind or arriving early, if anything seemed off with the dogs, and she sent tons of pictures and videos. We will definitely book again. From all the pictures I received, they had tons of fun and looked forward to playing fetch with her every day!
So happy we found Genre. She had an opening for our Ally when our dog sitter canceled at the last minute. She sent pictures and kept us well informed. If you’re looking for a sitter that you can feel totally comfortable leaving your pet with, Genre is the one.
