We are a pack bonding and socializing experience! Better than a dog park, a nightly unleashed run through a 100 yards just for us! I have learned a lot about boarding dogs from doing it! There are extra fees if behavior is excessive!

Jennifer was great with Charlie. We had to book her kind of last minute and she was very accommodating.
If you are hesitant about leaving your pup with Gennifer, do not be! She is obviously so knowledgeable about dogs and takes such care to make sure they get what they need both physically and mentally! Our Koa had a great time while we were away with her and her pack. Will be booking again if we are in need of a dog sitter!
Gennifer has a lot of experience with large dogs and she didn’t flinch in caring for my German shepherd and Labrador. I would use her again if she is willing and available to care for my dogs.

I DON’T recommend puppy owners to book, we set a schedule for him on his profile for feeding and she didn’t follow any of it, we got so many complaints about our 8 month old puppy. She let him eat other dogs food which cause him to have an upset stomach, she had him sleeping on her bed when we provided a new bed for him to sleep on in the kennel. I was told I would have to pay for laundry fees due to him sleeping on her bed which was not discussed. He’s not a “sleeping in the bed puppy” he has his own bed and kennel which he is trained to be. His feeding schedule was all over the place and she allowed him to eat her older dogs food so of course he was going to have accidents, She lives outdoors and our dog is an inside puppy and knows to use the bathroom outside so he’s going to assume he can pee and poop because he is outside! We have three kids who take our dog out on a fixed schedule which we provided to her. He’s pretty good with his training if she would’ve followed directions he would’ve been just fine. We now have a lot of corrections to make due to lack of consistency of his schedule.

Schedule
I teach Japanese and deliver goods around Oahu. Both are freelance jobs so when your dog is booked as a boarder they get basic kennel care and 2 walks. Sometimes i rotate 2 dogs and take them on my delivery runs. OR They are in a kennel for 8-11 hours before I get back usually to feed them again by 830pm. The industrial neighborhood I live in is safe. in back of 3 buildings is a fenced in area on three sides so we run without leashes in this walk. I have kennels if you do not. The day is long when I work but some days their kennel time is about 6-7 hrs. I walk them 2x/daily. Feeding! Then we sleep together by 10 or 11. We spend time at home for a few hours each day. Doggy Day Care for puppies or adventurers require the full day fee so I can not work and focus on your dog. All levels of care are possible if your budget allows Transportation might be required as well if you want us to go on a hike. My base rate doesn’t include this.

Safety, trust & environment
I use calm, confidence and caring to be ALPHA of my pack, dogs that are able to set good boundaries with other dogs work well. I see animals as family members and are responsible for other human children every day with the same sense of duty. I NEVER cuss or hit animals or people! EXCESSIVE BEHAVIOR is not tolerated however and I will do what is necessary for myself, my pack and other passerby’s to protect the peace. This might include training collars if your dog is a puller or a muzzle if there is aggression towards other dogs or people on walks. Some rebellious dogs might need to be in submission hold to learn who is alpha. A blended reinforcement method is what I use with my dog who is mixed with Jack Russell terrier and doesnt like to listen 100% includes a prong collar which is HER preference over the Gentle Leader. I also use muzzles to train. Emotional intelligence allows more choices for my animals. We lilve in a semi outdoor place. Rain and tsunami proof and all to ourselves. Off grid living. You can schedule a tour if you like! I’ve There is lots of fenced off running space for us and the neighbors know us and stop their cars or trucks when puppies run across the street as they do. It is much better than a professional kennel simply because of the love and activities I provide. I have references for my dog boarding in other people's homes.

A typical day
I rollerskate and bike with my dog for exercise during our walks. Rollerskating allows me get them to run, which I often dont have the energy to do after working so much. A day care day will include either obedience training your dog or trying out one of these activities with my dog and I. Ive taken my dog to Aiea Loop, Maili pill box, Aiea waterfall, and around Hawaii Kai ridge. I love hiking with dogs!
