I am new to Rover but not to pet care! My goal is to provide exceptional care and security to the homes and pets in my area. If you are looking for a house-sitter/walker with class, high energy, honesty, and maximum responsibility, please consider me for the position! Building trust with both homeowners and their pets is my focus because I understand the uncertainties of leaving your companions and property in the hands of a stranger. I aim to leave your home cleaner than I found it. Here’s a bit about me: I am a business owner and work as a professional artist, author, and graphic designer. I lead an active lifestyle and especially enjoy caring for high-energy dogs. Being an avid hiker and runner, if your dog has a favorite trail or routine, I’d be happy to maintain it. I also have a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting dogs if you so wish, but I also respect if the owner doesn’t want their dog going too far from home. Just let me know whatever you are comfortable with! My background with animals is extensive. I grew up on a farm and worked on ranches in the Cariboo and Fraser Valley Regions. I have a huge passion for animals and have trained large dogs and horses. I previously worked as a dog and cat groomer. These experiences gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior across many breeds and personalities. I’ve been told before that I am an animal whisperer, and I believe that is because I pay close attention to their behavior and individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic, elderly, anxious, or highly trained, I approach each animal with careful understanding. I do watercolor pet portraits (as shown in the photos) and am happy to take on a commission of your pet if you’d like one! Please Note: After due consideration, I have decided I cannot accept housesits with indoor cameras anymore. It is difficult having no privacy or very little, whether it’s for personal/business calls I’m making or just day to day living. I’m sorry if this doesn’t work for you. Also note that if you have told me there are no cameras in the home, and I discover a hidden camera while I am housesitting, I will immediately end the housesit for breach of trust. Thank you for understanding. Friday evening to Saturday evening I am off work and don’t respond to Rover requests, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. What Do I Need From You the Pet Owner? It’s important for me to know the rules of your home so that you can feel secure knowing your pet will be cared for in the way they are used to! My favourite home owners are the ones who give me a list of the do's and don’ts so I can provide the best care for their pets and home. I don’t expect a stocked fridge, but it is a nice bonus when homeowners care too! I’m always being asked what I like to have, so here’s my favourites: Juice, eggs, yogurt, nuts, and cheese. I have low blood pressure, so you can’t go wrong with salty things! Although I absolutely adore animals, I do have a restriction when it comes to animals sleeping with me on the bed. I understand that is what many owners do with their pets, and I’m sorry that I can’t accommodate this. If your pet eats pork, please know that for religious reasons I am not able to handle any pork products. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Eva was so amazing with our two dogs! Our one dog is reactive and anxious and she did so amazing with him. They were so settled and content while we were away! She went above and beyond in our dog care and took amazing care of our home while we were away! I could not recommend her enough!

Eva was amazing. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. She took such great care of my cat and also went above and beyond to take care of my home while I was gone. That was such a treat to come home to after an exhausting trip. She listened well to all my instructions and took great care to make sure everything was taken care of. Will definitely be using her services again.

Eva was fantastic! She took such good care of our home, our dog and two cats while we were away. We have an Australian Shepherd that needs lots of exercise and Eva took her on so many great hikes! She was sure to send us lots of picture updates of all the animals which we appreciated. They all looked so happy and content with her. The house was clean and my flower pots in great condition when we got home . We felt our animals were in very good hands and will definitely be booking her again when the time comes. If you need a responsible, caring and active pet sitter, Eva is your lady!
Thank you so much Eva for coming and doing a last minute booking. Murphy feels so much better and settled. He is not looking out the window sadly anymore!
