DogGroomer & Sitter in East London!
Hi there! My name is Gennaro , or Jimmy if you prefer . I'm an italian guy based in Shoredich that used to live with a dog . My flatmate moved back in our country and we decided that our dog deserved to retire in a sunny countryside so he moved as well . I miss him every day , but I’m also glad he’s living a better life now . In the meantime I decided to spend my time and my energies with other dogs , so i can still get a bit of what just dogs can give . Thanks to him i’ve changed my life , I’m a dog groomer now and I was able to transform my passion in my job . About me : I’ve been living in Shoredich since more than 8 years and i know the area and the parks around very well ! I work half week in west London , so I’m happy to travel through central and west London for bookings . I work full time , so ,for some bookings, dogs (or cats) have to be able to stay home works hours or happy to come with me at work :) So , here I am! Ready to make new friends !

Gennaro was a wonderful sitter who was able to help out in a pinch on short notice after I’d been gone for a few days and my usual sitter had an emergency. He was very attentive to my cats needs (my cat is incredibly independent) and was welcoming and safe even though we’d never met (I provided the access code to a key safe) - even bringing in a parcel left outside before I asked him to. I can highly recommend Gennaro to anyone who needs a sitter!

Gennaro was absolutely impeccable in this first and long stay with Toto´. From the initial set up, meeting with him twice to build the relationship in the time prior to the sitting time to the last moment of my trip back as he insisted to stay till I landed late in the evening to ensure Toto´was covered which I was most grateful for. During the stay he was just perfect, regularly kept me updated with plenty of photos and stories on what they were up to. He went out of his way to ensure Toto´would eat when he seemed not to want any food, and I am genuinely sure my dog is right now missing him and all the daily activities he had with him. He also showed a lot of care with feedback and recommendations on dangerous plants he spotted at the park near my house. I absolutely could have not asked for a better sitter and I definitely highly recommend him and will book his services again at the next occasion. Thank You very much Gennaro from Toto´and myself.
I honestly couldn't have asked for a better person to look after my cats while I was away. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a bit of an anxious cat mum, so leaving them for a week was stressful, but Gennaro made it so much easier. He kept me updated, sent plenty of photos. When I got home, both cats were happy, relaxed, it was such a relief knowing they were being looked after by someone kind, reliable, and patient.
I cam recomemd Gennaro enough he is amazing and my little Sariah are so lucky to have him so so happy
This was the first time I’d left my puppy, Toast, so I was a little nervous, but Gennaro was fantastic and put my mind at ease. She had a great time and went on lots of fun adventures. The updates were excellent and it was clear she was being very well cared for. I came home to a clean and tidy house and, most importantly, a happy puppy. I’d happily book with Gennaro again and highly recommend him.

Schedule
I work full time Tuesday to Saturday 10 to 18. So for all services I’m available early mornings , late afternoons and evenings (and night) and on my days off . For dog sittings , pet have to be able to stay home or ,if friendly, they can came at work with me :)

- It’s very important to know how much a dog is friendly and happy to get in touch with other dogs , not all dogs are the same . Also it’s good to understand how much anxious a dog is . Each details can contribute to create good experiences and prevent from disasters and traumas . Also is good to know their special words and favourite things to make them more comfortable as much as possible with a new person . No mention allergies and specific problems.
