I am a licensed veterinarian technician, with experiencein general practice and specialty. I am confident in providing the best care for your pets with any medical issues and can ensure we will have a great time while in my care. I know how to make a dog comfortable with me and more importantly with their surroundings. I can accommodate a high energy dog, the needs of a mellow lounger, or the attentiveness of potty training a puppy. I absolutely love animals as I have two rescue dogs myself and I can provide you the assurance and trust that your pet(s) will be in the best care! Plenty of pictures will be sent to you and treats will be plentiful (if that is something your fur baby can have)! Daily walks can be 30 mins to an hour, depending on energy level. If you pet has the stamina and approved by own, I would love to take them for a hike.

Genevieve was a lifesaver and took Maeve in for a last minute doggie daycare request. She allowed us to see where Maeve would be hanging out and meet her other dogs. We got updates on how it was going and Maeve looked so happy! They took her on a hike & let her play in the water. Their home, with a large yard and doggie door, was the perfect fit for Maeve. And she was wiped out when she got home. We are so happy we found Genevieve!
Genevieve was THE BOMB watching our pup. She took lots of pictures, and clearly gave him all the love and attention he needed. She even took him home one day to play with her pups, which she of course did not have to do. Puck had a great time with her, and we would love to have her watch him again!
Genevieve is terrific! I have two senior pups who require a lot of attention and medication- being that she's a vet tech and has volumes of experience with senior and special needs pets, I felt super confident that they were in the best hands. I also didn't have to explain much- she got the drill immediately. Genevieve is positive, warm, bubbly and outgoing and she's just a gem to communicate with. You'll love her!
Genevieve was my first Rover dog sitter and I was happy with the service. I was nervous about having a total stranger in my hose and nervous about the care of my dog while I was away. Genevieve put me at ease as soon as we met. She's cool and worked out well. I'd book her again.
Genevieve did a great job at communicating back and forth and sending photo updates - also very flexible at fitting to your schedule! Highly recommend

Schedule
I am currently working part time at an emergency hospital and have plenty of day time to dedicate to my clients and their pets. Our routine can include as much or as little outdoor time (weather pending) as youd like.

I have a fenced yard at my place and believe autonomy is key to integration of pets into a new home. They are welcomed on the couch and will be treated as my own with treats, smooches and toys.

A typical day
You tell me what your dog likes and I will formulate a plan to make sure we have a great time! If your dog is comfortable with car rides, I will find near by parks or get your permission for suitable hikes. If your dog isn't a fan of car rides, we can walk the surrounding neighborhoods or go to his/her favorite spots. Or maybe just some belly rubs? No problem! Approval of treats, and history of any food allergies, upon meet and greet.
