I offer in home day care and overnight boarding in a calm, loving environment with constant supervision. I’m a huge lover of animals. I've cared for dogs since I was a teenager and have raised three golden retrievers from puppies. My background in behavioral psychology helps me implement positive reinforcement and understand dog behavior. I'm also good at helping anxious dogs feel comfortable and happy. We have a fully fenced yard and a friendly 6 year old Golden Retriever. I also have experience taking care of senior dogs as my last dog lived to 13. Because I homeschool my teen son and work from home, your dog will never be alone. He or she will get a lot of attention, 3 walks a day, playtime in the yard, naps time and potty breaks. Your dog will be treated just like my own, as part of the family. 🐶❤️

Genevieve is amazing. She accepted our last minute request and provided a wonderful safe space for our very energetic Mississippi. She communicated well throughout the stay and accommodated our every request. We could not have imagined a better experience. We would highly recommend her to anyone needing a perfect stay for your beloved pet.
We couldn’t have asked for a more patient, attentive and active family to care for Nalu for a week. We live in KCMO and were traveling with our 2 yr old cattle dog across country. Part of our trip was in Canada at places she could be, so we found Gen and her family in whitefish to watch Nalu. They walked her daily multiple times and she got to play with other dogs that were passing through. It was like the ultimate doggy daycare. I wish so badly we loved close to them, they would definitely be our go to. Thank you three so much!!
Genevieve was awesome. We found her very last minute, and she was very flexible and accommodating. Our little guy was very tired from playing and getting exercise in. Genevieve sent us pics of him on a walk and communicated very well. Would recommend and use again when we are In the area!
Genevieve was great with Monte & Griz and took them for daily walks. She has a nice big fenced yard so they could play and a large shaded porch where they could sit & enjoy being outside. I would highly recommend her for friendliness and having a very dog friendly home.
Jazmine had a wonderful time with Genevieve and her family! Communication was clear and seamless throughout the entire stay, and both drop-off and pick-up were easy and convenient. We truly appreciated the excellent care Jazmine received and look forward to booking with Genevieve again.

Schedule
I'm a stay at home, home schooling Mom, so I'm home all day. Besides animals and kids, I love to exercise, so I love going for walks and hikes. Your dog gets plenty of exercise and 24/7 attention when they stay with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a pet friendly house with a large fenced in yard. I live with my husband and 14 yr old son who are both amazing with dogs. I also have a 6 year old neutered male golden who loves all dogs. Although my son and husband may be home at times, I will always be the sole caretaker of your pet. I will be the one responsible for all dogs in my care. No one else (including my husband) will have custody or control of your dog during their stay. Your dog will however never be bored or lonely, he or she will have a whole surrogate family. I will walk your dog three times a day and play in the fenced in yard every chance I get. If your dog sleeps over their dog bed will go on the floor at the end of my bed, if they crawl into bed with me thats fine too. I don't crate unless that's your routine and is requested. I truly love dogs and when they stay with me they become part of my family.
Pets
A typical day
I take the dogs for a long walk in the morning in town or a hike depending on the weather. If your dog enjoys the water we can go swimming at the lake or river. In the afternoon we will play in the yard. Take a little rest then go for an afternoon walk. Play tug of war and catch in the yard. After dinner we will go for one last walk then cuddle on the couch and bed.
