Genevieve can care for
Availability
Typically, I work from home about 3 or 4 days a week, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Because I understand how important consistency and comfort are for animals, especially those with anxiety or specific routines, I always make sure pets are cared for, exercised, and given lots of love and attention around my work schedule. I’m very communicative and transparent about my availability so owners always feel confident their pets are in good hands.

Safety, trust & environment
I always try to care for pets in a way that keeps them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether I’m in my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, affection, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means high-energy walks and play sessions, sticking to a feeding/medication schedule, or simply providing extra comfort and reassurance for anxious pets. I also understand how important communication is when someone is trusting me with their animal. I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so owners can relax knowing their pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is always to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while their owners are away.
Information Genevieve L. would like to know about your pet
I do like to be transparent that for house sitting bookings or longer walks, I may ask to bring my 10-year-old Husky mix, Zuko, along if the owner is comfortable with it. Zuko has separation anxiety, which has made me incredibly understanding and patient with anxious pets myself. He is extremely friendly, affectionate, and highly social. Truly the type of dog that loves everyone, both people and animals alike. He regularly attends doggie daycare and visits the dog park, so he’s very well-socialized and gentle around other pets. Zuko is fully up to date on all vaccinations, and I’m more than happy to provide veterinary records as well as his registered service dog certification upon request. My priority is always making sure both your pet and mine are safe, comfortable, and a great fit together.
A typical day
If there’s sunshine involved, I’m in! I love getting outside for walks through Valley Forge Park, Downtown Phoenixville, and Reeves Park. With your permission, I’d also be happy to take your pup to Reynolds’ Dog Park on Longford Rd. to burn off some extra energy, socialize, and have a little adventure. That said, I’m just as happy spending a cozy night in with a furry cuddle buddy. Whether your pet loves long walks and playtime or prefers relaxing on the couch with snacks and Netflix, I’m all about making them feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. And yes, I’m definitely a cuddler.

Pet care experience
It’s been a few years since I’ve been on Rover, but I’m officially back and excited to offer my services this summer and beyond. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I know how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your pet. I treat every dog or cat like they’re my own…with patience, attention, affection, and lots of love. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and anxious, or needs a little extra care and routine, I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I believe pet sitting is more than just feeding and walks, it’s making sure your pet feels cared for, relaxed, and loved in your absence. As a pet owner myself, I completely understand how stressful it can feel to leave your animal in someone else’s care. My 10-year-old Husky, Zuko, has separation anxiety, so I know firsthand how important patience, reassurance, routine, and trust are when caring for pets. That experience has made me especially attentive and compassionate with animals who may feel nervous, need extra comfort, or simply miss their people while they’re away. What sets me apart is the level of personalized attention I give every booking. I don’t believe in “checking in and leaving.” I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals, learning their personalities, and keeping owners updated so you can have complete peace of mind. Expect plenty of photos, communication, and a sitter who truly cares. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away and for you to come home to a happy, well-cared-for fur baby.
Reviews
Genevieve is wonderful! She’s prompt and reliable. The dogs absolutely love her. She’s so loving and kind to the dogs, I feel very comfortable leaving them in her trusted care!
Our little Molly just loved Genevieve! Genevieve walked Molly for us during the day while we were at work. She was extremely reliable and trustworthy. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a loving dog walker/sitter.
Dear Folks…Genevieve spent 4 nights with my animal gang in August of this year. She loved, walked, played with, cleaned up after, and spent every evening with my cherished dogs, birds, and rabbits. When I returned, all the animals were very happy and content, and the house was left immaculate. This hasn’t been the case with other pet nannies. She’s the closest thing to me being there with my fur and feather babies! Sincerely from the Heart.
Genevieve is great! She has watched and walked my two yorkies while I have been away on vacation. She is very reliable and great at communicating, so I never have to worry when I am away. It is tough to leave my dogs, but they enjoy being around Genevieve. She provides a lot of care and affection, and I know my dogs are always eager to see her when she comes to walk them. I definitely recommend her!
