I love and care for each animal I meet as if they were my own. I understand the stress that can arise from traveling and being away from your furry loved one, and I do my best to ease that stress. During your pet's stay, I try to stick to their routine as much as possible. I will provide plenty of exercise and attention for your pet, whether that's taking them on long walks or letting them out in the yard. throughout the day. I will provide photos daily as well as constantly monitor their eating and bathroom habits to ensure your pet is happy and healthy during our stay.

Please let me know if your pet has any behavioral or temperamental tendencies, such as jumping to greet someone, or whining at a door if they need to be let out. Please let me know as well if they're wary of new people or if they can be a bit snappy. Knowing ahead of time ensures I can prepare accordingly to guarantee both mine and the pet's safety. I would also like to know your pets' fears; if they're afraid of men, other pets, or the vacuum. This helps me make sure I can avoid any possible triggers that might overwhelm your pet!
A typical day
I love taking dogs around trails near lakes! I also enjoy taking pups to dog parks where they can run around freely, and safely socialize with other dogs. I love playing fetch or tug of war, as well as puzzle games. If your dog has any favorite games, toys, treats, or trails, please let me know! I want to cater to each pup's unique personality and keep them as happy as possible by doing the things they love to do!

Ever since I was young, I've always had a huge passion for caring from animals. Whether it was playing vet as a kid or accepting strays into my home, I am always finding ways to help our furry (or not!) friends. During middle school, I started my career in the animal field by offering pet sitting and dog walking services to friends and neighbors for a few years. I then signed up for Rover as soon as I turned 18, and have been a sitter through Rover for 3 years now. I have learned to care for many different breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments of dogs and cats. I have experience working with many different dogs in a large group setting, administering medications orally, and working with senior and/or sick + special needs dogs. When it comes to grooming, I do not have experience trimming fur, but have experience with bathing, nail trims and nail grinding, and ear cleaning. I am also pet first aid and CPR certified. I look forward to meeting you and your precious fur babies!

Genevieve is an all star. Super responsive, responsible, trustworthy and communicative. Sent lots of photos of my very happy pup, who had many obstacles as a senior. Handled not one but two unexpectedly hurdles exactly as I would have.
Genevieve was wonderful. The dogs responded so well to her and she was very responsive to changes in schedule. I will definitely use her again. She also took some super cute pics that really showed their personality. I knew they were in good hands!

Genevieve was truly amazing! She was professional and communicative, sending pictures and updates multiple times throughout the day and I never worried about my pups while she was watching them! We are so happy to have found her and can’t wait to use her again in the future!
