Pet care experience
School’s Out, Walks Are In —
I’ve had a dogs in my life, since I was a child, and was introduced to cats as I ventured into the collegiate life. As an adult I have cared for dogs primarily, but recently had the opportunity to take care of the sweetest cats! I am fairly patient with pets and like to give them as much space as they like to try to not mess up the routines, but if they are balls of energy and cuddle bugs, I am more than happy to comply! I believe that walks and healthy roaming space is good for a dog’s, development and energy, and respecting a cat to make the first move to ensure respect and comfort to their environment.

Genesys was great! If I need someone to check on my little guy while traveling again, I know who to rebook. Genesys was reliable and communicative, and also diligent when attending to unexpected snags in the beginning - such as my cat's bumpy first day without me there, and figuring out schedule / communication with a 6 hour time difference. We hit a good flow, my cat warmed up to Genesys quickly, and I came home after 2 weeks to a happy little fellow!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Genesys. She took exceptional care of my high maintenance pup and my home. She stayed in my home for a week and communicated with me everyday, despite me being out of the country and having limited access to my phone. She is kind and I could tell thru the photos she sent that my dog easily bonded with her, and her partner Adrian. Without hesitation I would have her back in my home. This was my first Rover experience and I am so pleased with the service Genesys provided.

Hi! I’m a full-time high school interpreter and a lifelong animal lover. During the school year, I spend my days helping students thrive in the classroom — and now that summer’s here, I’m excited to dedicate my time to caring for your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
I like doing research on the neighborhoods that I’m going into if it’s a new area, and like to understand what you have available, either a dog park, or a fenced backyard, to really understand how to best care for your dog. My dog is a big ball of energy so I have learned a lot of skills to be able to make sure that they stay in their assigned spaces, I do like to keep them with me on my lap as I work, or nearby letting them enjoy a nap.

A typical day
I start each morning with a good cup of tea and hop on my bike to head out for walks and drop-in visits. Whether it’s a brisk morning stroll, a midday potty break, or an afternoon play session, I make sure each pup gets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. Because I bike between appointments, I’m always on time and able to spend quality, unrushed time with your pet. I stick to their routine, clean up after them, and of course, shower them with affection (and maybe a treat or two, if allowed!). By evening, I’m winding down with a happy heart, knowing your furry friend had a fun, safe, and active day.
