Safety, trust & environment

I typically meet pets where they are, if they prefer to play or just lay down and sleep, I can adjust to them! If needed, I can also be firm in setting boundaries that align with their specific training.

Information Genesis H. would like to know about your pet

Does your pet have any urgent medical needs that need to be carefully monitored? Any history or aggression? Does your pet have any body parts that show them discomfort when touched or played with? Are there any trainings that must be strongly upheld? If so, what are the specific training commands? Is there a goal you would like to be satisfied? (urination/defecation, expend energy, training testing, etc.)

A typical day

For a low energy pet, intermittent playtime between naps or walks can be best. This provides stimulation while also giving them the time for a cool down period, as to not overstimulate. For a high energy pet, a mix of physical and mental play allows them to expend energy without overwhelming them too much all at once. Observation is key. This allows me to asses the pet and help decide if they're hungry, tired, bored, or just wanting belly rubs!

Pet care experience

As a veterinary assistant, I bring a strong foundation in animal health and safety to every pet I care for. I’m trained to recognize discomfort, administer medications if needed, and respond calmly and effectively in case of emergencies. Beyond the clinical side, I have a genuine love of spending time with animals and understand the importance of keeping them not only safe but also happy and emotionally supported while their families are away. What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to combine professional veterinary knowledge with a deep sense of compassion. I have experience working with puppies who need structure and patience, as well as senior pets who may require special accommodations or extra care. I strive to treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them the love, attention, and comfort they deserve. Whether it’s a playful or quiet companion, I adjust my care to suit each pet’s individual personality and needs.

She’s an amazing caretaker and had a great bond with my dog. She’s very communicative when taking care of pets and so gentle. Great worker.
